I started being a Dragonball fan last year when my uncle took me to see Dragonball Super Superhero I’ll never forget how good it was and now I have it blue-ray and DVD,but now I have finished DB to Super and I’m now going to watch GT and listening to this moves me when I remember the times I was alone and Goku made me laugh so hard my parents had to see if I was okay and also teaching life lessons about how life is important so use it wisely or always be the best you that you as a whole could be,and out there somewhere in Japan the person who made me believe all my dreams could come true if I worked hard enough,Toriyama.If he ever sees this he is the best inspiration to look up to for making the boy goku we met in the past and his friends along the way from Bulma to the whole cosmos.So if he dose see this,thank you Akira you help so many in such dark times of life.

did you ever end up watching gt? i'm glad super got you into the rest of the franchise i started watching dragon ball with dbz kai on adult swim around 2014-2015 the first episode featured a flashback to kid goku in og dragon ball and the bardock tv special so i ended going to my local comic store and libary to read the manga. i'm suprised it wasn't dbz,abridged,kakarot,super or even broly. that got you into the franchise. Many people may not see this but I'm glad i witnessed this comment!

I am here to relive and commemorate the masterpiece of Akira-sensei. Sayonara and rest in peace! Looking back, I just rralized how sad i am, after watching the GT ending realizing that it is the END OF THE SAGA. Especially when the ending voice over came in and Goku's "Sayonara!" The DBSuper, kinda gave me the relief knowing that the story continues in the middle (before the story of GT). But now that Akira-sensei is gone, that "Sayonara!" hits harder. Thank you for being part of our childhood ❤

@Thanos's Dick People hated because they wanted it to be like z when it wasn't until later in the show gt was unique something that if you threw away expectations of another z it is amazing through and through gt may be heavily hated but its good in my opinion as it was not originally going to follow the Z formula of fighting it was a kids show that was forced to do something never planned and still did amazing and thats something dragon ball has failed to do since then people hate gt because they had the expectation of z and i can say this as i was at one time one of those people i recently rewatched gt and my expectations were long gone and i enjoyed it so i think that if people rewatch gt then they will like it

I know many people dislike GT but I liked the series. Now that I'm older, I understand more about life. In my honest opinion, the reason why they introduced super Saiyan four was to show the might of the Saiyan race and by showing to achieve the god from within aka your god hood. You need to look from within in order to make it in this world. You have the power to create your future.

You guys might not like GT, that's okay. But you can't convince me that the ending isn't beautiful. A masterful ending, full of sadness and a bit of hope. One that ends in a true happy ending. No hook ups for next sagas, no cliff hangers and no intention for future cashgrab sequels. Just a pure ending for these characters that we grew to love. Even now, I cannot forget Goku lying on Shenron's back, going through all the world saying goodbye to his dearest friends. Vegeta, just flying away, knowing he had just lost his true and best friend in this world. Krillin, sparring with Goku one last time in front of Master Roshi. Goku apologizing to Piccolo in the other world. And this soundtrack... I almost cry just thinking about it. Dragon Ball Super can go on forever, but it will never manage to make me feel like this.

I never hated gt, the only thing I dislike is what happens to Goku at the end. Doesn't matter how much flawed the story maybe, I never want dragon ball series to end. To me it is the best anime of all time.
