ye plus u don't even need to be a red unit to one shot him lol, like ye he is annoying but a lot less annoying without his gauge and he has less ways of getting it back than red ui goku, he again also can get one shot like most other meta units and it does not even need to be at type dis-advantage@@marcalvarezps4
Agreed with how to use the gauge 100%. From my experience early on if I start a combo on red beast the enemy just switches and its completely wasted. The best way to use it is like using hits time skip, you swap him im when its a unit like LF Jiren who you will either straight up kill with just eegular arts or the enemy switches and he dies anyways. Also whenever you are facing UI you really want to pop it asap because most units are tanky enough to no die instantly to it.
@@imperfekt_zen you can drop to avoid wasting it but its a risk you have to take which is not always worth taking. If thats your only option you might as well switch out and combo with a different character.
You have mentioned a few times the idea of a long range tackle, I wonder if the solution is to rework the quick attack so it maybe has a longer visibility window of the animation, but you can cancel from a certain frames after the start of the animation (like tackles) and probably have it be a window to follow up with a strike or blast.

The meta is really slow. Most of my matches go down to timer. You could say it's fun cause battles get more intense and close but it is exhausting. Like 3 matches like this and I'm done for the day. I think giving the next LL revival nullification on ult might help. Also some sort of anti db reduction cause so many units are reducing db that sometimes you get your rush after 100 counts are passed. Think it's going a bit overboard. Revival nullification is a strong mechanic and there is reason they never brought it back after blue beerus. Maybe a anti revive mechanic like ssj4 gogeta or og pur cell might help but a more strong version.

beast can counter him well because thankfully he has a blue and not an ultimate. But even than i've had my beast at 5 star get destroyed by ui omen because of how much damage he has along with his team options. Also im still speechless at how Ultra Ui vs ultmiate gests health back goes type neutral and reduces enemy vanish to zero is too much.
@@minecraftvvg4250my beast is 5 stars too but I’ve one shot a few 10 star+ UI Omen Goku’s with him. The key is to get his anti cover change out of the way as early as possible and them work your way to the win from there. I would like to point out that I’m not super skilled and I’ve pulled it off a lot.

I just hate facing UI omen mainly because he personiffies the biggest issue with the game. He himself gives the player way too much power to the point the opposing makes one mistake its gg they are losing a unit. And the fact that Ui omen can do that just makes pvp unbearable for me. I also don't understand how they gave him type neatural when he pops his main which makes him destroy reds(in my case he destroyed my poor red tf beast to death). We already went from goku frieza controlling the game to ultra janemba to now ui omen. Ui omen feels much worse in my opinion compared to janemba and goku frieza mainly becuase ui controls the entire game whenever his guage if full. I hate pv

The main issue of having a unit that somehow when you wanna cover switch he locks you in and gets an ultimate with more damage is just too much. Not to mention his main teams which you gloss over he has mvp 17 that reduces damage taken and that itself hampers the opposing team. USS didn't need this lvl of a unit because the team was already n2 or n1. Now they are number undisputed because of the insane team he has not to mention the insanity of a unit UI omen is. The man has way too much, and even vs red ultiamte guess what he reduces enemy vanish goes type neutral and gets 40% hp. Ultra ui just does too much vs most units. Ultra Ui is just too broken.
the blue one? (well actually I would not be shocked cuz a lot of old units can do that if they got enough buffs) the red one uses blue cards so it would take a big stat differencial (such as beast gohan having a better team and equips and stars et cetera) to actually one shot ui goku@@Lunn1019

Like how Goku/Frieza had the green card lock-in, UVB had the vanish removal on switch in, and Janemba had the strike counter unique gauge, UI Goku of course needed to be given one toxic mechanic courtesy of the devs; in this case being the full cover change nullification into lock-in. With how his cover change null works, you essentially _cannot_ switch in a PUR unit unless 1) you are comboing, or 2) you've already used up your opponent's cover change null.
People forget that when they launch something broken a month later they launch a counter, and at the end of January there's a UI ultra counter for sure, this month is for profit until a counter comes
He seems a bit overpowered at first with his switch lock ability. But technically, it's just a lockin with different mechanics from what we already had.
A lot of people saying they dont like his color choice, and I disagree with that. At least for my usage of Ultra UI. I've been using him on a Son Family (UI, Kakarock*, (what I call Goku/Bardock) and a third character (usually Red Beast) or UniReps team (17, U.UI, Rev UI). For Son Family, The Unit being Yellow helps Goku/Bardock, and they have nice coverage of each other, despite UI being Blast focused and the other units being Strike, at least R.Beast is buffing the Blast Damage he does.
Yeah! Ultra UI is definitely a good unit but I was expecting G4 in the part 3, as you said GT needs another worthy character before releasing G4, right now I just wanted Spirit Bomb Goku(GT) then Ultra G4 in 6 Aniversary.❤
Hello Goresh We may not know each other personally, but I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your, I call them podcast videos about the game. It has a very nice atmosphere and is very nice to watch or hear while doing smth. else. Anytime I see you upload another Video ( at that point I can tell if it is by the lenght of it) I save it and wait until I am either in Bed or when I am sitting down for some Coffee. And please oh please dont consider making these videos shorter in time. I know it is selfish of me and I apologize for it but to me it really is nice to just listen to someone who I would say knows what hes talking about and really think about it myself. I’ll say this once, Ultra UI last man standing is definitely the most scariest unit to face in the game. The guy can gain his new mechanic back, gains type neutral on ult on top of 20% damage cut and combine with all his last stand buffs and stacks he gains on cards. Yeah, no red unit is safe when he is either last alive or almost the last alive. That was my greatest mistake when i blindly faced ui without completely reading his kit, as i got demolish even having both pan and beast as counters to ui.
Also the only thing that is unfair is you switch you get hit with na ult but np. 17 lowers arts power and cancels Bufs beast the same ui also heals do they are a lot of charakters that can jest survive in my opinion he din't ruin the meta at all its good and this ultra is one of the only ultras that din't ruin the game
the fact that even UUI has one of the most ridiculous mechanic in the game but still have some chars that can counter him its a good for the meta and the game, in term of charracters release, i say this festival has the best chars release so far as each of them are realy good and we can argue that all of them are on par each other
Genuinely, I don’t mind him. Because at least he’s not janemba; a character who appears for like 10 minutes. And UI you can actually play around him which unironically makes it fun to play against. Speaking as someone who got shafted on the banner
Hes annoying but not too dog, his relavence can increase or decrease weather or not the meta changes and how people learn to fight against him. Also ye rr promoted a little more passive plays, but also like it really stopped some steam rolls from happened to alot of the people like out of top 1k, especially in top 10k where stars vary a lot more.
He a slippery snake. I can't say much since I barely play pvp, but since getting him and trying pvp a few times, must feel bad on the receiving end of his auto dodge mechanics
I know he keeps talking about the UI gauge and how it can disrupt a combo but it's really not hard to get rid of it. Similar to other UI Goku's, you just quick attack, tap blast, tap attack, or blast and make them waste a bit of it. Get them in a combo start it with 1 or 2 blasts and then you likely have no problem using strikes. It's also not easy for them to replenish the gauge since he doesn't do it on green like Rev UI.
From what I've seen, I agree that UI is currently #1 since he's setting the pace of the current meta. Namely, Purple is a dying breed, which had made Green more powerful, the color Red is more valuable, which makes Blue stronger, but also risker to run thanks to the increase in Greens, and Revival units have increased. The different between UI and Gogeta Blue last is mostly came down to there was no Yellow in Gogeta's level. The best Yellow was Zenkai LF Super Saiyan 4 Goku. This was a byproduct of OG Gohan Beast resetting the meta. This time, no meta reset happened, so UI while, imo, is the best unit in the game, he isn't in his own tier. He has Gohan Beast to keep him in check and running the table like Gogeta Blue did. And Gohan can't run the table since we have Blues who keeps in him check.
I think there is some legitimacy to UI being designated as a “sniping” character and that might be the best way to play with him. Contrarily, I think he gets the most value by using him in the most aggressive matter as possible. What I mean by that is, the way he compounds damage buffs with every card makes it so that if you are not on switched in with him for very long, you will not be maximizing his efficiency or utilizing his mechanics which promotes longevity while in. He has a gauge that supplements his vanish, a combo breaking mechanic, and decreased damage should you get hit by a blue card or awakened arts. Being able to predict when your opponent will switch and dropping the combo to not use your nullification prematurely, is the way I have found to most effectively employ his strengths.
I just dislike that it's yet another character that rewards the player for not playing the game, and rewards a passive playstyle. It's boring to have a character that just auto-plays the match
Im gonna come out and say it, legends pvp feels awful for me (ftp player even tho i got new beasthan and blue boys). Run into a ultra UI goku and he literally 2 taps my TOP boys in every game and i cant do anything about it. Can't combo janemba without getting ulted but dw his counter will recharge in a bit. Combos go on for far too long with most characters having infinite draw speed + cover null. So ye ive not been having fun in 11400rating points.
I'm actually ok in the anti anti cover change of ui goku, I just don't like the combo of no switching for 3 timer counts and chaining cards. If the either got rid of the chaining of cards or got rid of the no switching then I'd say it is more balanced in comparison
I summoned 50k on gohans banner and pulled him to 14 stars with orange piccolo getting to 9 stars and i already had uvb at 14 stars so i don't have any trouble with ui i think the issue with ui is you have to play passive and so many ppls play style is aggressive with lag so it's hard to just click cards and instant win so ive barely had any trouble fighting him 8/10 times i face a ui i win at first i thought he was going to be a lot worse but as i said you have to play passive and that's the opposite of this community so if you summoned on the right banners and saved your CC to strengthen your best teams you had no trouble facing ui also RU-vidrs hype everything up and make it seem like every ultra or every new character is super strong and op when in reality they are not
It's sad i don't have any of them, my last unit i got was bu ultra , after that i spent like 12k in vegito blue ultra and no luck, namek Goku like 10k also Goku black ultra trying to get more stars like 12k and nothing now beast Gohan like 14k and still nothing also Goku and vegeta like 8k I don't know why I save chronocrystals bc I don't have luck, and i was waiting for a GT unit bc I'm still using them but now i can't bc i can't stop meta with GT team
The combination of UI Goku and MVP 17 easily makes uni reps the best team. If UI goku gets ulted he literally takes no dmg because of his and 17s ult arts power down. Then you have so many options for the 3rd unit. For overall synergy gofrieza is the best third option because then if UI goku gets rushed by someone with endurance null you can still switch to 17 and be fine. The saiyan team is for sure insanely good now but not better than Uni Reps in terms of overall cohesiveness.
UI is fine. Do people not remember…. The only unit that could one shot UGB on release was 4ku with a dead ally. Every top red unit besides pan can one shot ui. (Beast, Vb, Ape, Hit, even red janembas’ green to blue will destroy him). U can argue Ape and beast are the only ones who can actually tank him but most top units don’t care about disadvantage (Janemba doesn’t give a flying shii about green units)
He’s definitely top 3 in my opinion. Only reason I think he’s not the best unit in the game right now is because of Beast Gohan and other relevant red units like UVB, reds can really hinder UI’s performance but it’s not like it’s impossible to deal with because there are meta units that are blue you can run with UI like Goku and Bardock and GoFrieza.
Hes extremely op, the lock in and free ult just tops it off, not to mention dodging strike and blue cards. the meta now has been the best one for a long time, hopefully it stays that way.
@@Bigtwinkissac209 if you play correctly, then losing the unit won’t happen. Yes, his lock in and free ult is harsh but, again, if you have beast, or a good red unit- you’re safe.
He doesn't feel as stupidly cheap with his gimmicks, yes he has his dokabaki auto-draws and cancelling out cover changes but at least its not UVB where he literally gets to steal your vanish then proceeds to combo for 80+ hits
Like I said on his initial showcase ultra ui goku is more of a nuisance than broken meta breaking character. Compared to the ridiculous other releases we had to face this year ui feels underwhelming.
All these ppl saying uvb counters ui soo hard and i dont see it at all... and ive played matches both ways lol im tanked uvb ult many times with ui then crushd multiple uvbs. tried using both and i promise using such a strike heavy unit is not what yall wanna be using
I went all in for the beast banner so I didn't summon that much in the evoken banner but I'm running Ultra UI Sign with Beast Gohan and LL Pikon and I can say it's kinda toxic for the enemies :3 (I do have UVB at 10 stars and UH at 8)
tbf after using him a lot , i feel like beast is way better than U, he doest have the same dmg , the green on beast is way too great , he's red , he's beast.
In a PvP game you shouldn't have ultra VB or Ultra GB that are top 1 and the next unit could be number 5 in terms of gap between them, i feel that this UI is perfectly balanced, he's REALLY strong but he has got a bunch of counters Beast, Hit, Great ape Vegeta that can just oneshot him, especially Beast, completely bypassing his gauge
my reaction was differs from what i said in this video i would like to say after pulling him he’s definitely offensively just a sniper not the best unit in the game he can’t get hit unless his team is set up to be built that way beast is the king he’s definitely number 2 but no question if you tell me he’s number 1 i’d understand why you say so
Honestly dont think hes THAT broken. Only thing he does that is unfair is the switch lock in (and even then, you just want to switch right away so that you dont get locked in with a unit at low hp, if your team is built well you should be able to tank the ult, or if they combo, the lock will wear off before they can ult and you switch). I feel like UL Hits timeskip was a better version of this. The dodge gauge can be played around as well. He has a lot going for him, but I dont dread facing him (as someone without him) like I have other units in the past.
My best set up against UUI, is Beast, Janemba and the ftp Piccolo. Leading with Piccolo i know he'll die and I'll get death buffs, and UUI just basically wastes the counter switch.
22:10 UVB doesn't counter UI even for a single mechanic, agreed. You can't combo him with VB, so you can't combo him with beast either, how is that different? Beast's blue card is more powerful than VB's, agreed, but you have to land it first. The thing that i always disagree with Goresh 2000% is that he forgets that his setup is more than the best in terms of stars, equips. The opponents that he fights are always on an inferior setup that's why he thinks this and that unit can't damage this and that character. Also, he overlooks the featured boost.
