I noticed that too along with most of the old combo strings and button prompts. This really is tenkaichi 4! I'm just a little iffy on the camera, but other then that this maybe a day one purchase!
crazy how sfx all the way from the first budokai game are being used here, probably for placeholders at the moment but i’m just shocked to hear it at all
I knew it was going to look good, but this looks extreme. Movement is smooth, the impacts affect everything around them, the camera settings are cinematic as hell. And the blink dodges... probably the best way to use those I've seen in a while.
This is like the blink movements that SJ3 Goku had in Tenkaichi 3, I know some other characters also had them, but they were few and far between. But they took that movement and made it a thousand times better.
It's just going to be the best. Hopefully this, and the JJK game flop inspire Bandai to put actual heart into their games. Because this literally looks like the anime in game form

Battle Wear Damage, the Ki Blast particular effects, THE WAY NAPPA'S GIANT STORM EXPLODED THE BUILDINGS IN WEST CITY LIKE IT WAS FIREWORKS, everything about this looks incredible and i can't wait. Literally the only thing i think can be even better is making the actual hits have a louder sound cue so that they feel even bigger. I don't care if this releases in the winter or even in 2025 and beyond, no matter what happens in my life even if I'm completely broke and dying the next day, the moment this game comes out, i am on it 100%. We will be there no matter what
This shit aint even completed and it already looks this good. My only real complaint is the goofy beam explosions effect(they dont look that bad, but they could be more powerful, final flash literally bursts out fart clouds in it and its kinda funny lol)
Ik a lot of sounds and grunts are reused from older games, namely budokai 3 and tenkaichi 3, but honestly, this just makes me even more excited for Sparking Zero. It reminds me so much of the good old days of the Tenkaichi and Raging Blast series
Lmao I'm absolutely fine with that lol some old and msg they added in some new ones as well. But that was the 1st thing I noticed and I had the biggest smile
Now some old clips I love but God I hope they fix the kaioken pronunciation. Well they got a lot of later games to use it so.... Heck maybe some reusing of xenoverse voice clips could do wonders.
For those who dont know but Gokus Super punch cinematic is from Super dragonball Heroes the anime ep 13 when Goku fights Hearts, seems this game is pulling stuff from SDBH aswell

Nah the combat is def from the budokai tenkaichi and raging blast series. In fact this game is essentially a renamed budokai tenkaichi 4. A lot of the people who are so excited here aren’t fans of the Kakarot series, they are BT3 fans who have been waiting for over a decade

It says footage shown is under development. And you can tell because of the aura coming off of them when they charge their Ki. Idc if this game comes out late 2025. It'll be worth it

yea i remember them saying in an interview that they seen the insane popularity that fighterz had in the competitive scene and that they would like to see that same stuff for sparking zero
That would fill up a whole stadium. Be hype as fuck. Unfortunately the FGC is up their own ass about arena fighters and don't consider them real fighting games for some reason. They're wrong, btw. Because what something fighting game mfs don't want to admit, is that anime heads fill stadiums FAR more than FGC heads. Make a Sparking Zero competitive event and it well sell out in a flash, and have more entries than any fighting game at evo. (Also the best FighterZ players came from Xenoverse. Also, play Gundam MBON.)
Depends if they can balance the game with all these characters. Buuuut it’s not impossible. I mean like at Smash Ultimate with all its characters and that was in evo. So I say it’s a 40/60 chance.
Oh man that was awesome! Its like a perfect blend of kakarot and budokai tenkaichi style gameplay. I also really liked that warmup into the signature pose for Goku's intro

Yeah it's an amazing detail. I mean it's been consistent in DB as a whole that transformation or just power ups can manipulate the environment/weather.
This looks amazing I can’t wait to play, there’s only 1 thing that I hope you can change. I think the camera shaking is abit too much and will be very noticeable when you play. I can’t wait for this game

Hud display needs some work and the camera shake needs to be toned down but everything else is amazing im so excited!!🔥🔥 are style and animation is godly, combat looks so solid and flashy they got the foundation right!
What there to even say this game just visually alone is already best dragon ball games visually ever created no matter where you look. I just hope the game play holds up as well as this trailer shows us.
I guess this is replacing dbxv. I know that series wasn't a fan favorite but I enjoyed that game a lot. It had a long run too, like 7 years going on 8 I believe. I really enjoyed creating my own cac and pit them against other peoples cacs online. That was sweet, brought awesome memories, and made some good friends along the way.
This is amazing 😭 Waited so long for this... One thing i hope they change is how ki blasts hit the opponent, for some reason they keep making it so they just stop and have a spaz attack midair

This looks INCREDIBLE!! The only problem I see is that the beams don't hit as hard as in the old games. I need to see that whole screen explode when I'm getting hit by a beam, also the impact of the hits needs to be a little harder. Make you feel the punches and beams like it used to. Also still waiting to see the classic gut punch that leaves the opponent stunned and the trip. And blocking different directions as well. Just a few minor tweaks and added features and it will be better than BT3. I am so stunned by how good it looks though I mean it looks amazing!! Cant wait to play this game🔥!
It definitely keeps some mechanics of the og Budokai Tenkaichi, and it doesn't look as stiff/slow skilless as XenoVerse/Kakarot, but it definitely needs improvements gameplaywise
HELL YEAH! Now remember this is early version of the game so they could change some stuff. That said. Oh they definitely brought back a lot of BT things. The models are on point and the movement looks amazing. One thing I am surprised they brought back. They brought back the Blast Stocks.(you know the blue number thing below the profile). And tbh I don’t know how I feel about that. No offense but that was one of things in BT3 I wasn’t a big fan of. I kinda prefer how Raging Blast did it. That’s just me though, what do everyone else prefer and why? Also they made the Beam Clashes, Time Based like Legends and I called that! I had a feeling they were going to do that and honestly I am fine with that.
The visuals look so beautiful. And Im glad theyre keeping the old mash gaming mechanics. Definitely gonna have to buy a new controller when I get this game
Thankfully they're keeping this similar to my generation the ps2 era 😂😂 some of the sound effects sound a little off but I'll just choose it up to the cast getting old still looking forward to playing this with my family looks fantastic ❤❤

This looks amazing. The only thing I dislike is that ultimate attacks don't have the cutscenes when you get hit by them like they did in raging blast. It made them feel ever so slightly more devastating and cinematic. The game looks amazing tho I bet its gonna be great fun.
This looks everything I wanted, except for two things: camera looks to chaotic but I guess it has to be due to immersion, also air dashes looks too stiff
I like seeing this, and hope if not, It will have a Dynamic Battle damage system for their outfits... For each beam or Rush attack will damage their outfits in a different way...

Im so happy they make a budokai tenkaichi type of game again, budokai tenikaichi 3 is my favorite dragon ball game. and with this graphics and animation, it will be so much fun
