My reasoning for adding all of super buu’s forms is simply because the goal of sparking is to pick up where Bt3 left off it’s the sequel to the franchise, in BT3 your able to play as not only all of buus form but also evil buu and even babadi himself. Seeing as how yajarobi cui and even spoccavich have been confirmed for sparking it’ll only make sense they add the characters I listed as well to further Strengthen the Majin Buu saga Roster portion. - [x] First Form Cell, 2’nd Form Cell, Super Cell, Android 17(Z), Android 16, Android 19, Dr Gero, Meta Frezia, King Cold, Cell Jr, Base Teen Gohan, SSJ Teen gohan, Ssj2 Teen Gohan, Base Sword Trunks, SSJ Sword Trunks, My reasoning for these characters listed is because a lot of these characters have already been confirmed via V jump scan and the demo’s played publicly, for the ones not confirmed it’s safe to say all of cell’s forms will be added based on all of frezias forms being added. I added meta freiza since he’s been an addition to the tenkaichi series from BT1 to 3, and I threw in king cold cause he was exclusive to BT3. Trunks and teen gohan have been confirmed and it would make sense for the game to showcase them from base to max form since other characters have that treatment. - [x] Cabba, SSJ Cabba, Champa, Vados, Botmao, Magetta, saonel, Pilena, Fused namekians, Justice Top, Basil, Lavender, First Form Frost, , final form frost, Caulfia,Ssj2 Cabba, ssj2 kale My reasoning for these characters will be interesting. I added the wolves because they would contribute to the story of sparking ina ideal way, sparking story mode doesn’t seem it’ll be as unique as Kakarot ina sense of fights, Bergamo fought Goku and lavender fought gohan in the pre warm up stage and in the tournament of power safe to say this game is going to deliver that fight. I added the namekians because they play an interesting role in the TOP and had a fight with gohan and gohan being one of the playable story characters i think this fight will happen. I added tops form because it’s expected I added all of cabba and kale and caulfia forms because it’s a tenkaichi game it’s expected but I added only two frost forms simply because he has to many for this in game base roster and only was rlly seen in two of them for longer then a hour of screen time. - [x] Mercanary Tao, Kid Goku, Great Ape Kid Goku, Demon King Piccolo, Eighter, Cyber Tao, General Blue My reasoning for these characters is simple Kid Goku was in. Great ape form throughout the entirety of the show, great ape Vegeta in the game I’m sure they’ll kid Goku great ape to even the odds, mercanary Tao is confirmed and cyber tao I added only because he’s made an appearance to the tenkaichi game before. I added demon king piccolo because he’s the final boss of kid Goku and general blue eighter because they’re another red ribbon character making it 4 red ribbon characters that are with reason to be added. - [x] Great ape Bardock , Great ape Kid Gohan, Appule. I added Great Ape kid Gohan because he fights piccolo in the show and Vegeta so adding him will be essential for not only he giants in the game but also for the story mode matches. You were also able to fight great ape Gohan in tenkaichi 2. I added great ape Bardock because you actually see him in great ape in the special he was in and he was in tenkaichi 3 so it adds depth to his character. The last character I added was appul, appul is in every game xenoverse franchise tenkaichi series, the game would need atleast one minor frezia minion especially for the story mode fight with bardock. Reasoning for cuts- I cut characters like great nappa and raditz because they didn’t turn great ape in the show with the tight space of 164 characters it didn’t make sense to add them in the roster. The way I made this graph was by putting characters that will be in the game by sagas 100 percents then characters that would make sense to add so I saved gt and movies for last if they’re was any space and they’re wasn’t unfortunately. With dragon ball being confirmed it took any space that could’ve been for movies or gt but even then it would’ve been a bad selection to add them to base game because they’re to many important gt and movie characters with unique transformations to add to base game without getting to everyone else. Theory’s- gt and movies will be in base game and the 164 characters show case are just from trailers and not actually full in game roster, gt and movies and all other characters will be released as DLC packs instead.

I thought they were gonna do what Xenoverse did and confine to a smaller map on a single screen. At least with this, they can add more maps (albeit less populated versions) to local split-screen later as either updates or a sequel similar to XV2. XV1 only had the WT stage, but XV2 made separate/smaller versions of a few more. Sparking can do the same, and it makes sense why they chose the HTC instead as a last minute addition. With the WT stage having an alternate (destroyed) version..
