Accessories: You can choose to equip some specific characters with their anime accessories, to reproduce their famous moves. Type: This defines the additional characteristics/abilities based on the character type you selected. Ability Items: You can enhance characters’ abilities (speed, strength, HP…) or partially change their look (Halo, Scooter, Aura…) through capsules customizations.
Yeah, but it was terrible in BT3. Let's say you were Super Saiyan 3 Goku and chose the Green Aura. Instead of giving you a full green aura, it would give you the regular SS3 Aura AND the Green Aura on top of it. Raging Blast fixed this problem.
Yeah they did, I think some might be confused because it has the same light orange coloration of DBS Broly (the far left/default) one instead of dark orange.
@@awakentheflamepodcast5995 No it definitely isn't. Quite frankly, all three of the Z Gokus and Super Goku's BOG/TOP outfit all use the same light orange coloration as Super Goku’s default Broly outfit. You can definitely see it in the demo gameplay videos. I honestly don't understand that to be honest.
The costumes mildly effecting movesets and skillsets is cool. I can imagine equipping Goku's Gi from the Raditz fight would remove Kaioken like in the story mode
And maybe it gives him Meteor Combination instead of Kaioken Attack? It makes more sense for him to have it since he used it against Piccolo in that outfit.
How is anyone mind not going crazy at how this will all work together? Even leaving out accessories. How do you even consider to balance out movesets if characters can wear outfits from seemingly any saga, like DBZ teen Gohan able to wear his adult DBS outfit. So how does Raditz Saga gear on DBS Goku work? This shit is confusing as hell. And does this also "naturally" cancel out fully customizable movesets for characters. And again, this is without factoring in accessories, which equipping would probably bring out some kind of move swap system so there's room to actually use the item-move. So many questions man.
@@windy3935 I'd assume that for ranked play there'd be no customs and for unranked play you'd have the option of customs or no customs. That'd be the best way to handle it, so that people don't need to worry about the inherently cursed nature of people's custom characters (especially if they have the secret maxed out customs like BT3 had, where you had to enter a password for a character with absolutely ridiculous stats)
I really hope this means we can orange gi Gohan with early Buu Arc hair. Maybe even with Super Hero outfits and hair when that DLC comes out. Maybe even have Kaioshin Gohan with the sword if we're being ambitious
@@RikudouFox YES. I hope they do the thing they did in BT3 where both costumes of Base Kid Gohan actually had different hair models. Orange gi's was much closer to the film, whereas the demon gi was essentially just his SS hair but black (like at the end of the Cell Arc in the manga)
The costume and character customization makes this game 10x better. Im curious accessories and attires they will have that alter the moves of characters
Lowkey for goku black i would LOVE these customization options. 1. His kai outfit when he first swapped bodies. 2. Turtle hermit gi goku black basically showing how eerie it would be seeing goku black wearing gokus bright orange and blue gi. 3. A vegito like outfit just with black and red basically a cosplay of vegito black but goku black wearing it
I really hope they let you customize the controls beyond the two premade ones. Because I really don't want to have to deal with spinning my analog stick like a maniac when using the classic controls.
I believe the outfits for Goku that look the same are simply just the variations in schools. One is probably the turtle hermit symbol while the other is Goku's symbol.
Also, I like what they did with the transformation icon. It shows an arrow upwards, meaning that each transformation gives you a boost in your power and ki. Which the creator explained that transformations make you stronger in a fight.
@@Lightanims560 nah Im talking about able to totally change your characters hair, outfit, aura, attacks etc when transforming. Same animations as other characters when using special attack and ultimates. Could be sooo goooood!!
Either it's a mistake or just a weird decision, but why doesn't the Standard controls for Xbox have the movement tied to both the D-Pad and left joystick? For whatever reason they have the movement feature only tied to D-Pad for Standard. That's weird
Multiple outfits for multiple characters yes please ❤❤ wonder how you get to customize your character excited to play on PC with my bros skipped out 3 back in the day but played the first 2 when they first came out was a lot of fun 😊😊
You’ll be cool if throughout the game, we can unlock special outfits and even sell them like a battle pass that would be cool because I would like to unlock Broly in his base form with the Frieza uniform
I might switch to the modern controls cause I’m not tryna spend money on a controller every month just because of a beam clash in a game using the joy stick
@@jormilos I feel you, the classic controls are like muscle memory so it’s hard for someone to switch to the new version, this gonna be a issue for console players but pc players got nothing to worry about lol
@@legend_2543 being a console player sounds like prolonged suffering. Gotta pay for online and the controllers are mega expensive if you have an epic gamer moment. Is online still $5 a month or have they jacked that up with all the "features" that now come included?
Took a look at the controls. The standard mode is more similar to that of raging blast 2. Just thought I’d share for anyone who wants to practice that too.
The only thing i ask for is that you can change the costumes while on the select screen, so you can see the attacks that change while in the select chararacter
I knew these things are possible now since shallot is a candidate for dlc, everything that you can do in Dragonball legends might be plausible with sparking zero... I can say that ultimates will be switchable, I can see Satan using spirit bomb
I feel like ki doesn't need to be customized because everyone seems to charge up pretty quickly and so I was hoping for a defense level stat that will help when you receive damaged when blocking and when you're not blocking as a defense is leveled up more you receive less damage and less damaged when blocking that's what I was hoping they would have hopefully they do add especially when you get strong enough and you want to play the computer or any other modes on extreme difficulty that would really help out a whole lot
I wish I could be as hyped for this game as everyone else, but knowing that this is a Bandai Namco game, they're going to be trying to nickle and dime everyone at any chance they get. Customization means another way for them to make money, rather than being an opportunity for cool unlockables like they used to be.
so in case of a clash in classic settings you should rotate the analog, so they basically don't want anyone to play it cuz u ll get stick drift from it I wish they switch for mashing in all versions
@@MalakaiEaton bro no hate I absolutely love the series but the analog need to be removed from the classic, I played bt2 and 3 that’s why I wanna play with the classic layout, you don’t know how many ps2 controllers I bought cuz of it💀💀💀
@@cassiocesarbarros2251 I don’t think standard controls is raging blast controls I’m literally playing raging blast and scratching my head at the new sparking zero controls
