I really like this ending what if. It's a scenario that I could logically see happening in Super. Universe 7 fail to beat Jiren, but in a way they also succeed, as their resolve and characters change Jiren's outlook as a person. So much so that he ends up making the correct wish to restore all of the universes.
Jiren never even wanted to be at the tournament, he thought fighting for the universes to be destroyed was bad. It’s pretty obvious he would wish for it to be reversed
Damn, I actually think this would have been a better ending for the show. It wouldn't really change anything and it gives Jiren some actual character development that he severely lacked. It wouldn't take anything away from 17's development either since he had his self-sacrifice moment earlier. Edit: I think Goku would have kept his promise to revive Frieza, too, even though they lost. Everything that happens after this point should basically be the same.
@@usuario15965 I don't think so. All the hype moments of the tournament would still be there. UI Goku mopped the floor with Jiren. He just ran out of time. Jiren winning after everyone's worn out is a twist that people wouldn't see coming, but it makes sense. Everyone always expects the protagonist to pull out the win.
You're really a good player. All of the gameplays that I have seen until now was just spam of ultis and transformations. You reminded me the budokai tenkaichi 3 essence
14:31 What's funny is that half of the team were Goku's opps at one point. In fact the three who weren't were: Krillin Gohan Master Roshi Everyone else was an enemy.
I got to give props to Jiren! All this time he's been stuck with his haunting past! Which is heartbreaking and understandable. But in the end. He finally found himself a new desire, not only that he learned to let go! W Jiren in the chat!
Jiren is a such an amazing character. He’s practically the strongest mortal in the multiverse, and had great character development. It would be awesome if he came back into the story at some point.
To be fair the previous arc was a phyrric victory for the villain. Zamazu might not have lived to see it, but his actions caused the destruction of the universe. Trunks & friends were definitely the losers there.
Honestly this could've been an amazing ending to the ToP. Arguably better than what we got. This would show us that the universe is bigger than we think and there are people far stronger than Goku, Vegeta and prett much every U7 individual (mortals only). It was a waste to introduce the grand multiverse and immediately force it into small boxes comprising of the 10 best fighters. As for what this could lead to. We get Jiren's development as a person, but his power trumps all mindset has been crushed as he only won through the hopes of his comrades. We get Goku and Vegeta finally realizing their limitations as opposed to always finding the right answer. This makes mastering UI and eventually UE more impactful as they have to dig deeper into themselves as Jiren already did.
Was it just me or was jiren's fights really hard? Don't get me wrong im not complaining, it should be hard by all means but man call me trunks cuz i have android PTSD now
Mine only gives the animation of goku trying to deflect the attack and all but not the super shenron scene, and there's another ending i can't get in the what if
this should have been the correct ending. Jiren after facing Universe 7 changes his heart and being a hero what he was not a maniac villain, he had already decided that he will restore all universes as he values justice.
