Hello everyone I would like to introduce the full story of what if gohan turned super saiyan god properly renamed dragon ball super rewrite. If this video gets 1k likes I will continue on to the Moro and granola arc. Even though this series was my first and extremely dated I hope y’all still enjoy it!
I do find it interesting how you made trunks so different, which changes the dynamic of goten and trunks which makes them both feel like unique characters instead of a package deal
You're my inspiration and I've rewrote entire OGDB. I gotta work on DBZ, DBGT. Then, DBKai and DBS. One day I'll have my own yt chann and I'll post the rewrite. It'll take 2-3 years, but I'll try my best.
@@kingzenie9611 Sorry to disappoint you but it will take many years. Also, I've made changes in lore. Like, Ikari will be the Super Saiyan of Legend with 100X multiplier. And SSJ will be called Super Saiyan Evolution(a 50X multiplier on top of ikari). Everyone will get their own character arc. Goku will have dual personality. DBS broly movie will include humans. These are just some outlines. It will take many years. I'm still in school and not in position to start the channel. I gotta graduate first.
@@SomeBody-_-Yt happy for you doing this. dragon ball definitely needs a rewrite (especially DBS) looking forward to it. Something I would like is making the Z movies, and the DB filler canon (but actually be written properly)
Man I thought Salad Saiyan's rewrite was good, but your, not only did you improve Super but you improved the Buu saga as well, this is a phenomenal what if, on par with your What if Vegeta regrew his tail story I wouldn't mind seeing you do something similar with GT in the future
I might be wrong but I believe Goten vs Frieza will be my favourite part in this story. The level SSG doesn't feel so powerful and that fight alone emphasised technique and skill being able to overcome raw power.
Man I haven't watched your first series in good long while so it was cool rewatching it again, and with changes too if I'm remembering. 🤔 Still enjoyed how you gave Goten & Trunks more character then their canon selfs even Gohan & Videl didn't miss out in growing as characters too which is pretty cool. 👍 Goten getting a girlfriend funny thing enough that could happen with the new Super Hero Prequel Arc since it take place during Goten and Trunks' time in School. Anyways nice seen this series again, and definitely hoping this series continues after 1K likes.
I thought it was a new upload at first, but I realized it was your first what-if reformatted as a complete story. Quite nostalgic, I must say. Always a nice addition, my dude.
I’ll drop opinions arc by arc. For the buu saga. I thought gohan was going to be suffering from ptsd, like marks plot, but he didn’t and now I’m not sure what that first dream was about. You already know how I feel about the ssj2 transformations I like what you did with the kids, and the added touch of goku actually being a dad, who missed his kids, however without fusion their existance has no affect in the greater story at all, except for vegeta’s ssj2 and sacrifice. they’re just kinda there, though maybe they pay off later? In context of Z they do less here than in canon, but considering in canon they just stall buu forever, maybe that’s better. Ups and downs with them I suppose Ssj3 being gone is a travesty, same with ultimate gohan. Vegeta not having his realization about his rilvalry with goku. L no vegeto. Buu is one note, essentially just villain of the week. I think you did a good job with the moment to moment character interactions, but removed so much of what people enjoyed about the buu saga. Gohan struggles with his own rage, having to overcome his rage in order to ascend to the next level. I feel like you missed an opportunity. You watch mark, so you should know about the lie’s that a character tells themselves that begins an arc. The lie gohan should tell himself here is “I need my rage to save lives. My happiness doesn’t matter” showing him in his rage at various points like spopovich, then finally vs buu, where maybe he uses his anger as a weapon but his anger can only take him so far. The realization of this and mental adjustment to overcome this providing him the new form (imo should be ultimate but you chose ssj god) All in all id say improvements and faults littered throughout, looking at this only with context of this arc.
Ssj2 does not need rage, gohan uses rage to make the form. But as we’ve seen from universe 6 saiyans it doesn’t necessarily work that way. Additionally goten and trunks got ssj but I doubt rage was involved. Following your line of logic, rage should be required for ssj3, but it wasn’t.
Rage was used for ssj1 and ssj2. We do not know how vegeta or goku got ssj2 nor do we know how goku got ssj3 but we do know every transformation in Z required rage to unlock the form. As for goten and trunks akira said the reason they didn’t need rage is because they had S cells a retcon I personally did not like which is why in this rewrite I stuck with rage needed for the transformations
I feel like that's false equivalence, gohan needed rage, therefore everyone needs rage? But i'ma trust that this works out since i am enjoying what im hearing the more i go through.
@@wish5615 how is that a false equivalence when we see no one else turn ssj2 besides Cabba who also used rage to transform and Cauilfla who used it to protect herself
@@MangaAdventures Well by your own words, vegeta has no reason to reach that anger. And goku has even less. The implication being they reached the forms from intense training. Cabba does reach it through rage, caulifla just copies goku. In the top she learns ssj quickly through cabba no rage, then watching goku she mimmicks his ssj2 transformation using his ssj2 as a reference, which is likely how goku and vegeta reached that level, though it was probably more difficult for them than it was for caulifla.
@@wish5615 it was never stated how goku and vegeta reached ssj2 again I’m not saying my theory is correct but you can’t say yours is either and to me personally it’s coming off as in you think yours is the definitive way. All we have is what we saw. Cauilfla did not first transform to ssj2 by copying goku she first transformed when Kale was about to kill Cabba and she transformed into ssj2 to protect him. After you reach a transformation it’s easy to tap back into it without that initial emotion see goku on namek and Gohan when cell came back. Again as for the initial ssj transformation like I said akira stated the reason they can transform is because of S cells which is clearly a retcon because if that was the case kid goku would have turned ssj but he didn’t. Like I said akira constantly retcons and doesn’t care about what he wrote in the past or what guides says proof of this he says ssj is only a 10xs multipler but nobody is going to agree with that even ththe creator declared it because us as fans pick and chose what we like and I liked that ssj2 was unlocked through rage because it had more build up story wise. Which is also why people like Cabba transforming over cauilfla
Honestly I think Goku started the whole sayings don't seem to grow up until they hit the physical age of 18 bit because he looked like a toddler when he was running around with bone like even though the two of them were supposedly around the same age. It wasn't until the martial arts contest where he battled Piccolo Junior that he look like he grew up
