They have a reason. He can tell Goku that Namekian's balls can ressurect anyone multiple times not like earth's one.

Exactly with Piccolo still alive and their friends dead they can just use the Earth Dragonballs. Also to who said giving Vegeta the strength of a Super Saiyan before he gets "reborn" in a sense is dangerous. I think the animosity of learning Freiza was the one who killed the Saiyan's (from Cui on Namek I believe) turns him from his original path and that on his death bed he passes the torch to fellow Saiyan Kakarot to avenge their people are 2 BIG required moments to set the future back on track

Why would you think that? Fanfics that are in English are written by people in the West who would have nothing to do with the production of an anime in Japan.

Fanfics in general aren't the problem, I myself read constantly checking for fanfics, (only find written one's not really fan mangas) and in general people can do pretty good stories... of course when you come across them, in recent years these fanfics are dying breeds Too many immature and down right terrible people write bad fics, because either it's yaoi (got nothing against gays, but it just makes no fucking sense in DB) forced romantic ( which again DB is definetly not cut out for) which gives very weird pairings for no fucking reason. or the most common, characters are OOC ..And because of people like these are the reason fanfic is shall we say not viewed really positivily, not to mention when because of people like these the author loses all interest in either making OR to continue his fic. One of my favourite fanfic which was written VERY nicely, Second chance (Bardock fic) was written very nicely, 98% everyone was in character, but it was stopped because the author lost interest because of the many way too similiar and downright autistic fics.

it wouldnt have been too hard to write it so that the original ending happens; as in a dead nappa, a messed up vegeta getting away and vowing revenge, and the dead z fighters getting resurrected with the namek dragon balls.the only difference is krillian. which could be solved with a trip to namek to use the dragonballs there. you could have mr popo do the exposition, like he heard the guardian talking about how the balls there can bring people back many times, but the guardian thought it wasnt right, so didnt include that in his dragonballs. granted, you would have to have a mid level fighter like tien or yamcha go with bulma and gohan to namek, but no big deal. i think yamcha, bulma, and gohan travelling to namek could be a fun adventure. maybe toss in some sexy space pirate to flirt with yamcha and make bulma jealous as a filler could go well.

why would bulma get jealous? she doesnt like yamcha....

DR. SAVAGE during that time period she was still on and off with yamcha. iirc, she went to namek because he was a baseball star and getting lots of girls, so she left to forget about him.

Why would he want the same ending to happen? Since we already know that the timeline he enters splits off from his timeline, it doesn't really matter what he does. The differences are why this fanfiction would be interesting.

The Super manga is actually pretty damn good and better than the anime.

Well that's no surprise, the bar is set pretty low when it comes to super. And capable fans that are interested in the series have often more background knowledge and creative ideas at their disposal that might even fit better than what the official writers would come up. They might even be able to close up plotholes that existed before with clever writing. Take Team Four Star, for example.

I'm pretty sure somebody who's inspire by the lore will make something better because they are boosted. "OmG, i'm helping on darksouls, omg i got so many shit going on my head to bring forth a lore for the dark age. I think it's less about time itself and more about interfering with events. For example, because of Trunks interference Piccolo lived but Krillin died. Now they have no reason to go to Namek, which likely means Goku won't become a super saiyan, which in turn means even with an extra two years advance warning he's likely screwed when the androids show up, not to mention Babidi and Buu.

EXCEPT that KRILLIN was the one who suggested going to Namek. He was the one who pieced together that there may be more dragonballs on Kami's home planet. No Krillin means he doesn't even know Namek exists. Considering how Trunks was trying to ignore Vegeta completely just to spill the info and book it that brings up the possibility he never would have gone to Namek because he was never aware of the possibility.

kami being alive, more than likely would know about the dragonballs on his home planet so that would be the gate way to namek.

Goku gets angry at trunks for interrupting the fight. trunks smacks some sense into him and forces him to hear what he has to say. piccolo isn't sure if trunks is good or bad but sees him smacking Goku around. so he does a sneak attack special beam Cannon and kills trunks.

You can't prove any damages, the artist isn't profiting off your IP without license, they aren't claiming to be producing legitimate works so claims of brand damage are laughably weak at best, and something this transformative would get an easy Fair Use ruling. IP holders hurt themselves more by trying to suppress nonprofit fan projects (regardless of success or failure) than leaving them be ever could. Smart IP holders find the best ones and hire the creators/buy the creators' work and publish it as canon, or at least promote it for good publicity and exposure.

It took both Piccolo and Krillin dying in succession after the failure of the spirit when Goku was drained of ki to do it, without Krillin in the equation, I don't think it would be possible, unless Gohan was to be killed in his place under the same circumstances. A catalyst is essential to spark the transformation.

It's also worth noting that the creator could not make money off of this and creating something like this entirely by yourself takes a LOT of time and can make you feel dissatisfied to be doing it completely for free. It's why I'm glad the crew at TFS have things they do outside of DBZA that are apart of their channel to help them gain revenue since DBZA itself is unable to.

The creator has said that she has lost all motivation and will never finish wrong time. That she forced herself to work on it at the end, and that she has lost interest in all things Dragon Ball related. It's a little too late for that, but damn, makes you wonder what the hell happened.
