Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 (PS2 Gameplay) 

Did anyone else grow up on this game??? And the games intro I would never skip it :D I was so sad when It broke ;(

Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.

omg Budokai 3 has been my most fav game for many years...I even broke 3 CDs lol and I gave up. I wish to play it on PC and be nostalgic. I LOVE this game! Period.

Lol memories of my late nights on my ps2 till 5am in the morning playing this game flood my head. Good thing I bought the new HD versions of budokai for my Xbox ^^

yeah i know they are both great dbz games, the newer games only focus on appearance instead of accuracy and fan demands

At 5:49, I love doing energy blasts with the CPU at point blank range. Its funny because in my game, the computers knew exactly when I was going to do an energy attack and we would both get blasted, lol. Good times.

i like the combos in bt3, and i like being able to play as the villan and the music is good enough for me and personally i dont like the display of attacks and stuff in bt2, most people agree

some game series dont really get better with time after a certain point. Ratchet and clank seemed to go downhill after deadlocked and by the current series of recent games, its too different to really compare. Fallout piqued at New Vegas, and Fallout 76 is a joke of a game. DBZ is alot like this where i feel it piqued at Budokai 3 and shifted focus to a more free movement style that i think made it really hard to give it a tight fighting game feel similar to Street Fighter or Tekken. games like GTA have only improved with time, with few exceptions. GTA 5 being the most recent mainline games, and its arguably the best. maybe if they remastered, or even remade Budokai 3 and expanded on it to add more story sections and maybe even more main game playable characters, we could see another great entry in the series, even if it is a remake of an old classic. hey, it worked for RE2 and 3

they couldve done better, they should just take the best aspects of all games and put it in one game, too bad they havent done this with tenkaichi 3 - like the fake ''could've been'' fusions from budokai 2 and the free roam flying and searching for dragonball z was way better that way.. but the fighting and action animations and sprites in tenkaichi 3 are still the best aswell as the number of characters available dragonball/dragonball z and GT. still the best
