I know a lot of people have heard this song because of TFS, but PLEASE watch the original Japanese scene of Gohan becoming a Super Saiyan 2. This is one of the BEST scenes because of this song and just in general. There is no inner monologue from Gohan. Just pure silence as the song plays in the background.

This is GREAT. Love it! One of my favorite themes from Dragon Ball because gives off so much emotion in it in one of the best transformations in anime history, especially in the Japanese dub. No inner monologue for Gohan, just pure emotion in this scene

I saw this version before the funimation dub. It’s a beautiful song and it shows so much emotion. Easily the highlight of the entire Dragonball Franchise.
