I love that more characters are getting the entry level price point. It gives more people a chance to jump in and let's not pretend these figures don't massively jump on the aftermarket so coming in late really hurts.
I just saw him come up on BBTS for $34.99 and got him! Price point is excellent considering the quality and accessories you get. If I want effects I can figure out or make something. It hurts seeing Zarbon and Dodoria at such high $130+ MSRP prices though when you collect other stuff as well. Having to resort to 3rd party for the overpriced SH Fig Ginyu Force and maybe Zarbon and Dodoria at this point. I have SH Fig Ginyu but Demoniacal fit Guldo, Jeice. Waiting on a Recoome and Burter.
@@ShutoStriker yeah. I prefer the cheaper figures. I don't need any crazy stuff for like over 100. All I need is some different faces and hands and then I'm good.
The soft ice blue shading on the white looks quite good, I like that it doesn’t stand out too bad and its more on the subtle side so it doesn’t take away from the overall white color of the body
The funniest thing about these figures is that, by the reviews, I never really noticed how small he really is, despite your hands are in display. Seeing him in real life was such a surprise
@@Dakingalbert2 I know they do manga figures but sept that it is in B&W I don’t think they will make black frieza yet I until he’s adapted in the anime so we gotta wait patiently
I like how it was so good they barely changed anything. I dont know why anyone would pay for the original. I have it, the accessories are cool but I can’t justify the price for them unless you just have extra money to throw at anything.
This figure and the upcoming DBS Superhero figs I think are exactly like the recent Goku's. Budget friendly massed produced figures due to expansion of the line into other countries. So it's stripped down but it's also really cheap price wise. Barring retailer shenanigan's I'm getting this figure under $30 USD. The other guy was what $80+? Nothing much to see for folks who own the original but a pretty good deal for new owners. I do wonder if we will see more Friezas at this price point. Making a gold Frieza would be similar to like all the Goku's.
The original Freeza retailed for $40 USD and came with tons of accessories. RoF Freeza came without the rock and different heads but better colors and sturdier joints for $55. This variant is $35 USD.
I'm more partial to the white Frieza over the new, greyer model, and of course the accessories the former comes with. Still beats the heck out of the 1.0 model though.
Have you had any problems paint chipping or color degrading? I own the second release Freeza and he’s had some issues when it comes for the pure white paint scheme.

I came to see if it scales properly, and I’m happy to see it does! He’s being released at Targets, in the US, so I’m going to hunt him down. I did laugh when you said all the figures scale well, because the new Pans head is wild. 😂.
Man I own the original and the ressurrection version of him but I cant decide whether picking up this version is worth it..I mean its cheap which make it even harder for me to pass but owning 3 versions of same char... Justin would u say its still worthy enough to pick this version as well?
Awesome review. Love it. The figure is awesome, and i love it. Him next to goku vegeta and future trunks its awesome and funny at the same time. One thing that I'm kind of annoyed is that the dragon ball started to get scratches . Did this happened to anyone else? Any idea why?
They should literally just move Frieza forward onto the new body generation, this is the third release already! Still, looking forward to that Imperfect Cell, could new forms of the various villains be coming?

I just wish the tail had more expressions or movements. I want to recreate the entire fight between Goku and Frieza including choking Goku out with his tail.
I found a frieza ressurection for 75$. However, I'm still looking to get other figuarts, so, is ressurection frieza a better choice than this new one? Is it way better that I should get ressurection and sacrifice ssj4 Goku?
For 35 pounds or dollars it's pretty good. Since the 2nd version is abt 110 now. I'm getting this one then I'm getting ssjb Goku broly movie and saiyan raised on earth.
Kind of disappointed they switch the dragon balls color. Now they don’t match the previous ones that were transparent amber instead of this milky color they are now.

Justin I'm sorry but no, you are wrong on figuarts being on point and keeping scale in mind. The line 100% does not care at all. It used to scale towards center, but now it is all over the place. Piccolo 2.0 should have been the height and honestly just a remold of king piccolo, but instead they made a brand new toy and made it too small, just barely taller than the OG one. They made captain ginyu scale perfectly with goku, making him taller than the piccolo figure, which is 100% inaccurate. Then they made the ginyu force try to scale with ginyu who was the appropriate height, only to then have final form cooler tiny compared to how he was in the movie and all references to that form's height online. This ended up making burter taller than FINAL FORM COOLER, does that seem right to you? No it isn't, this line has no care or concept put into it to make these figures all match with one another, cause fuck the customer, they will buy it anyway.
Piccolo Jr and Piccolo Daimao are completely different heights. Piccolo 2.0 being the same height as Daimao makes no sense; he's significantly shorter.
@@Paranoida actually it does. Bandai has made it no secret that the dragonball line doesn't scale with the dbz line, roshi and kid goku's proportions would be wildly comical if they made that claim. If you look up piccolo's height across multiple sources, he is 7'5" tall. King, is said to be 7'4" or what is probably more accurate 8'2" feet tall. Their heights if king is 8 feet tall are not that different. With all that said, yes. 2.0 piccolo should have been the height of the king mold, ignoring if they scale together or not. The 2.0 is just wrong in every classic group shot. And if you want to make an argument that piccolo's height has changed enough to say the figure accurately depicts him now, you would be wrong. Even the end of the second opening of dbs where everyone is together, piccolo is in the background of eveyone. Still taller than all of them.
