So the others shouldn't laugh at you BUT still when a "game for fan" is made you should know that some iconic stuff is going to be shown AND with the goal in mind to make the fans happy. So in a trailer like that it is a pretty obvious choice even if you don't remember the scene. You should know that some people will kinda criticise you. Anyway...

did he really took that long tho? if you really look at the trailer in the first scene you'll see vegeta in his buu saga outfit. while watching goku fights, he smiled, and made that speech in his mind. so that means just before the dragon ball z ends, he accepted the fact that kakarot is better than him and he respects him

Story modes in the Storm games were not half bad tbh, but they disappointed people by not keeping the Storm 1 style of exploration, which was awesome but only covered Konoha and was pretty empty at the end of the day. Also I didn't play it but I think there was an Xbox game (Broken Bond was it ?) that had a really good open world kind of story, and with the original soundtrack too so it was hard to top that. Point is imo people don't appreciate S2, 3 and 4's story modes enough, they're objectively really not that bad... Except maybe the slow running.

Those original episodes might be for Android 21 and Mira since their both already in the game. And the new arc is either an original story or battle of God's since it's cannon but of course this means Android 21 and Mira are probably going to be cannon soon since they're in a game where cannon stories matter most.
