I'm OK with their anime versions getting to do some things in Dragonball Super. The manga version's handled them worse so far (and that's because it has to be rushed compared to the anime).

I love how this theme was able to be used to make Piccolo sound so evil in OG Dragon Ball, but then this theme is used to hype him as a hero in DBZ. When you have a theme that lets you do both, you know you have an amazing theme.

This sounds a little like the original battle theme from Dragon Ball when the melody kicks in, which is fitting for him, having been a genetic clone of Goku’s biggest enemy in that show. It also sounds like a wrestling entrance.
