This has been my most requested track and I've finally remade it!
Thanks to ‪@genetic_lemon‬ , ‪@darthsensei3838‬ , ‪@Eliminator1900‬ , ‪@red6309‬ , @phrack8327 , ‪@sammyfromdiscord‬ , ‪@Jensen89NL‬ , @Ogre32890 , ‪@StoicProdigy‬ , ‪@TJBPlays‬ for all requesting this awesome track.
This is one of the pieces that is so special it's hard to know what to say about it, especially since we only hear it a handful of times in DBZ. I wanted to do my best to stay as faithful as possible to the instrumentation & arrangement while elevating it as much as I could. Pikkon is an awesome character and while he isn't officially canon and has inspired the creation of and been replaced by Hit in DB Super who shares a similar archetype, his presence certainly impacted me and the DBZ community enough to never forget him. That said, I think most of that impact is caused by his theme, which is one of the most unique pieces of music in the entire DBZ soundtrack.

@@jessb8585I like Roshi being in TOP even though his time has kinda passed and he already planned on passing his role down to Tien… like 10 arcs ago but… Regardless, they definitely had more options that would’ve been fun, like Yamcha, who despite not training for a while WAS one of the OG Z fighters so he deserves a spot. Even though realistically he would’ve lost very early, the manga lets this truth down hard by eliminating all the humans in the saddest and quickest ways imaginable. Also future trunks, not sure if he’d be allowed in but having him would’ve been badass as hell too. Additionally, Buu, particularly fit Buu would’ve been wayyy too op 😂 especially as a healer. He still got hoed though. Surprised he didn’t go to cell first though, he’s a much more reasonable guy than Frieza lol

@@CS-om3kj I agree with everything you said except that I don’t think Yamcha deserved a spot. No human should have been on that team except 17 and 18. Are they considered humans? 🤣 Cell would have been a great addition and Fit Buu would have been too much but Jiren and his crew were OP so it balances out imo.

This is one of the few themes in the series that could rival Vegetas. This man also had one of the absolute most epic introductions into the series when he pretty much laid waste to all of Goku's enemies without breaking a sweat. They really need to make this guy canon and maybe even bring him back to life and into the Z fighter gang.

Hah when you put it like that, him taking out Goku’s enemies so easily it did make him look next level, definitely stronger than SSJ2. That would be awesome if they brought him back to life some and made him a part of the team

Crazy that Falconer made such a banger theme for a filler character. Such a banger, that he reused it for the Goku vs Majin Vegeta fight when they’re smashing their heads together.

Bruce didn’t write this particular one; it was someone from his team, Scott Morgan- but I agree, what a crazy theme only to be used a few times 🙏 definitely left an impact on us DBZ fans

This filler character showed up out of nowhere, drop-kicked Perfect Cell in the face, slapped Frieza unconscious, and made King Cold moan with a gut punch for some reason while the best theme ever played. He deserves to be canon.

They played this theme when it was goten vs trunks which imo was a severely underrated fight, the crowds reaction alone to kids fighting like that, and the crews reaction to them going ssj just so good 👌 I literally cannot rewatch dbz without the faulconer score. Rip funimation and everyone who doesnt have the og dvds/blue ray

Very similar to original theme but you have A better quality. I hear difference between original and the same Time i some regrets Then dont used to your Version in DB. Original version Sounds like A demo version and your Its Full power ;) 10/10

The original is so good I obviously can’t take credit for anything but I accept your compliment for my version :) to be fair, it seems like the composers were limited by the sound palette they chose for the entire show and had to work within the boundaries they had set for themselves. I like to think my remakes are like when the elder Kai unleashed Gohans potential but with music 😅

The show introducing this character was the funniest thing the series ever did, and it was filler. Completely unprompted Grand Kai says "Hey Pikkon, I need you to go straight to hell for me" and I laughed so hard my stomach hurt

I knew this was one of Scott Morgan's themes because on Enigma TNG's "Saiyan Enigma" channel he composed a theme for Golden Frieza. At the start of the video Enigma mentioned Scott Morgan made a video explaining who the composers for the American DBZ soundtrack were. In the background Scott's fiddling with a synth keyboard and at some point he plays a melody similar to 3:37- 3:56 And when I heard that it dawned on me that he composed Pikkon's theme. On an unrelated note it's official that the transition from living with my parents to living on my own has racked my brain as I've been waxing nostalgic about many things for about two weeks now. And listening to this has somehow triggered memories of playing Digimon World as I had an Agumon I named "Pikkon" that evolved into a Tyrranamon. Didn't help that he beat Greymon and partook in some of Greymon's tournament bouts in File City.
