Original English Funimation dub with Faulkner is my favorite. The pacing is slower, but I prefer it. I heard all versions.

Just bought this as a blind viewer. Im kind of new to DBZ, i been currently watching Dragon Ball on crunchy roll and I just wanna experience DBZ in the best way possible instead of streaming, plus this boxset is very appealing to the eye. I know the gist of the story since I’ve watched most of the Freiza saga back on Cartoon Network back in the early 2000s as a kid.

I love the OG Dragon Ball Z series along with all its filler

i started watching db last summer and it was dbz kai the episode where gohan teaches videl how to fly my favourite character was emediately son gohan and after i watched some more i liked piccolo too

My first experience with the Dragon Ball series was in fact the movie Tree of Might, which was not a strong start but back then, I got really interested in the character's design. Then I found Dragonball GT on the local channel and the rest is history. I worked my way through DBZ since there were reruns on TV and bought the manga. Never own any of the game though.

Just ordered mine for pickup at a local amazon locker tomorrow! I'm so excited to binge watch this show again and relive my childhood

I originally had the DVD season orange bricks but I gave those to my brother after I got the Dragon Box sets. Since I have the Dragon Box I'm not sure I want those blu-ray sets but they're probably the best way to get the series that is still in stock. Also not sure about the blu-rays because Dragon Ball is only on DVD and I like to have everything on one format but I made an exception with The Final Chapters and Super which I do have those on blu-ray.

These were as big a deal among us elementary kids as the Sopranos was to our parents at the time.

They need to restock this. Ebay has all these seasons for $230-$240. Shits crazy.

This is the best collection series . You can do the Bruce soundtrack. Just set it up as U.S broadcast version

You are actually the only one who say facts.. I have this box olso. And it’s great!! It’s those extreme fans who see’s faults in everything. Real fans appreciate this box.. I was 7 years old when I watched it on tv 📺. This is a major improvement ! Can’t complain . 📺☕️🙏🏻

I never watched any dragon ball as a kid but I started w original db and am on the king piccolo stuff and it's really fun and enjoyable. I gonna watch dbz but I'm worried that it shits on some of the core characters I love now like tien. Also, should I watch kai or not? There doesn't seem to be a best choice among fans online.

6:15 "Access to the original broadcast version." That's what the Blu-Rays don't provide at all. The first 68 episodes are Remastered, not the Broadcast Ocean Dub 53 cut episodes version. Episodes 69-107 also doesn't have the true original Toonami broadcast version, due to 1st to 3rd form Frieza, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Dende, Oolong, Tien, Burter, Ginyu, Guldo and Recoome's (the latter 2 appeared with the Ginyu Force being on King Kai's Planet filler) original voices being completely remastered with different voices and a chunk of different lines, a lot of which having different actors. Delgadillo got replaced with Laura Bailey for Dende, Mark Britten for Chris Sabat with Burter, etc. Vegeta sounds almost completely different, Frieza sounds screechy now, etc. And the narrator is also not Dale Kelly and Kyle Herbert sounds bland except for when he copied Dale Kelly at first during the Otherworld and Saiyaman episodes. And all of the episodes don't look the same. 16:9, no Rock the Dragon Intro, doesn't have the 2 Faulconer intro's, doesn't have the original sound effects the Broadcast version had, so echoes are completely gone, The music played in the Remaster is not as loud for some reason, the Music placement is different for some moments, including a big moment when they tried to bring Goku back after the fight with Cell, which had more unfitting music, the grain is gone, the color saturation is terribly light, etc. And i'm not talking about Kai! I'm talking about these Blu-Rays and the Orange Bricks DVD's! You want to get the TRUE Original Toonami broadcast version? Get the VHS tapes or get the DVD Singles! I really recommend the Single DVD's. You can also watch the OG Japanese on the Singles, not on VHS, plus it had better picture quality, etc so i recommend the Singles more. These 2 are the true releases.

I will only buy DBZ Kai discs if they put back Bruce Faulconer's score in it. I have seen all of the DBZ Kai episodes with the new Japanese's score and I'm disappointed, it just doesn't hype me up anymore. Goku SSJ3 transformation's music in Kai was a let down compare to Bruce Faulconer's score.

Got mine on eBay 179 180. But the seem to use the big box that was plastic wrapped with a light a slight slit open in it and some of the cases not the cardboard but the typical plastic style ones the plastic that holds the case cover some of them are kind of ripped or torn but all of the disc are clean and okay. For the price I can't complain. Seen em go for 300ish dunno if mine is ised buy resold as new. Or what but all the disk look fine. Had orange brick set of a few seasons and one disc was kind of cracked disk still played except for the last few episodes.

Is there anyway to buy the box without the product?, would love to buy the whole thing at the right price but I already own more than half of the blu rays.

Brian Drummond is the best Vegeta by far. Ocean dub is the best. Anything after season frieza saga is just ok.
