Playthrough with Cell. This game...sigh. When I first saw it I assumed it was an upgraded port of Ultimate Battle 22, which had more moves for each character and generally played a lot better. How wrong I was. It plays like UB22, only now the CPU genuinely wants to kill you, for some reason the A.I. has been made really aggressive. It also features screen-splitting gameplay which I believe was in the SNES Butoden games, and this seemingly pointless mechanic where you can knock your opponent into different planes of a stage.
The game speed seems to be a lot faster as well, however as I owned the slower PAL version of UB22 it was probably just that. Disappointingly there are no new characters and even worse, you can't use some characters in single player in this, from what I can tell, whilst you can in UB22. Characters like Roshi and SSJ3 Goku can only be used in multiplayer. Oh and then let's move on to the side of the box: "DRAGON BOLL Z":
