HAPPY NEW YEAR Family! 💙🙌🏽 Thank you for so much Love and Support during 2021! Let us know what would you like to see during 2022 😊 We love you! - The SM Team
You can also do DFs in a doorframe, similar to the low horizontal bar but with slightly different grip. Gotta be the most accessible setup option. Anyway great video as always. I enjoyed the deep dive very much!
Thank you for the video! Please advise me on the split. Is it okay for the shoulders and other muscles to do the dragon flag the very next day after the planche day?
This is exactly what I was looking for thank you! Question: I'm also training/relearning the L-sit. Since a different post of the core is being targeted, should I still do L-sit on the same day or pick a different day? The latter would make it 4 total for days a week. For example Monday abd Thursday DF and Wednesday Saturday Lsit
Please do a video about wrist health. I can‘t even do Push-ups without Parallettes anymore, because it hurts too much in my wrists. All this since I started Handstands a year ago. You once said, that you had the same problem and trained a whole year only with parallettes. How did you fix the pain?
Legit- so many amazing things wrapped up in this video! I love the face Gabo makes when he is carrying the bench. Also love the shoutout to FitnessFAQ. Two of my favorites!!
I do 8 reps and 8 seconds hold at 45 degrees of full dragon flag right now In my conditioning workouts, and I can say Its a real killer!!! love it, Because I love the challenges, Edit: My grip is my sofa cause I dont have a better option, but is very similar to a low bar I think, and congrats for the superb quality of this video
We recommend regressing to an easier variation (straddle or half lay) and try doing the full range of motion. You will reap more benefits 🙌🏽 thank you for the love 🙏🏽
Lmao 😂 first one to see it (even before anyone in the team did lol). That’s Yassir doing spinal waves I believe 😂🙌🏽 good eye. And thanks for watching till the end. -Gabo
You can use heavy Kettlebells to grab behind your neck, or assisted if you grab somebody's ankles. Just a thought. It's the exercise Rocky did in Rocky 4. It's visually impressive and as you lose more fat and improve your core strength, hip flexibility and spine stability, its a cool exercise.
Wtf I can easily do dragon fly but can't able to do a pushup 😳 . I was already doing the most advanced version of dragon fly ie decline bench without knowing that it is the hardest .
Nice Gabo, I'll train step by step progression with you. Hope I can do this within this year.🤣🤣 BTW. Do you have an idea for a bars ? I l'm going to build a bars at my house but I don't have any idea of diagram so do you any suggestion that would be great ?
It looks cool but surely just training front lever and/or its progressions are better in every way, your back is unimpeded i.e. has complete freedom to move.
When you said in the short that this is one of your most information packed videos- you were right! This is an amazing amount of information beautifully presented. Thank you.
I've just started training for the front lever and discovered I have very little lower body strength/control. I assumed the dragon flag would be ideal and your video has helped to confirm this.
Happy New Year to the entire SM team. Excellent video. 😃 One question, when is the new collab with Daniel coming up? 😉 PS Shaman's dreads look awesome. Zach de la Rocha of fitness? 😆
