Honestly, I haven't played a Dragon Quest game since the NES...and I'm extremely hyped for this.

glad to see some more people who are hyped for this. and for the people who are angry this is not turn based, it is just a spinoff... dragon quest 11 is being made, and we get to play this while we wait for that game... also, can you really not see the enjoyment of fighting hordes of dragon quest monsters in real time? if you genuinely don't like these types of games, fine, I understand... but for the people who are just angry becouse they want a turn based game more than this, just give this game a try, like I said, dragon quest 11 is being made, and by buying this game you can also support dragon quest for the west. (not saying I agree with square here ofcourse, I think it is a stupid idea that the sales of a spinoff should determine if the main games are coming to the west... but it is what it is, and I really hope this game does well, becouse I really want dragon quest 11 and heroes 2 here in the west)... and as far as musou games go, this one is actually pretty different... more action jrpg elements, character switching mid combat etc... just look up some gameplay, and compare it to dynasty warriors... if you can look further than the fact that you fight a lot of enemies, this game actually has a lot of differences from other musou games, unlike hyrule warriors and pirate warriors... becouse yes, those are just dynasty warriors with a zelda and one piece skin. long story short, give this game a chance, if you do, you are also supporting the turn based dragon quest games for the west.

This game alone will beat Timed-Raider and downgraded gameplay HALO 8 "Oh sorry, I meant Halo 5". Silly me!

The only reason I'm buying a PS4 until KH3 and P5 come out; this game! :D

Who liked the Character creation feature of Dragon Quest IX....

I remember playing Dragon Quest IX on the DS. Still one of my favorite games on the system.

Props to Square-Enix for adding English Dubs on their Omega Force developed game, unlike Namco Bandai or even Tecmo Koei themselves, good job Square-Enix.

There is no way to describe the joy of hearing the voice of character from a game that has no voice acting

I just love the Dragon Quest character designs! Just a heads up for anyone interested in this who wasn't played a warriors game; It's very different, and takes quite some time to get used to, but once you do, it's absolutely amazing! (I love Hyrule Warriors)

Its RPG Time on Playstation again Final Fantasys, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts and more. Even Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy 7 gets remaked which is great.

I screamed like a schoolgirl when I saw Terry...and I'm only moderately ashamed. I remember him from my younger years playing Dragon Warrior Monsters... The Nostalgia came flooding in!

Last and only DQ game I played was DQVIII, so putting Jessica in the thumbnail is a good call as I recognize and like her. Might have to pick this up, but not til next year.

turn based is probably my favorite combat system in all of games, but im going to get this game not only to support dragon quest, but because i bet its going to be a great game.
