I generally enjoy and appreciate reviews on this channel. One thing that I have noticed from time to time is how the reviewer (or reader) appears to be racing a clock. Is there a reason why these readers sound like they're in a rush? What's the hurry? Slow down, relax, take a few more minutes to read the dialogue. In my opinion it will make for a much more enjoyable listening experience for your audience.

Hard to be excited for this as much when DQ XI & DQB2 are so excellent, so I will likely pass until a deep sale, if I purchase at all. Think I'll save my next DQ adventure until DQ III 2D/HD launches sometime hopefully later next year. Now that one I will consider to be an absolute must buy! Additionally, Noisy Pixel is quickly becoming one of my favorite new review sites! Always a great watch! Thanks guys!

I just picked it up at target. Last one. I’m a huge fan of dragon quest monsters and don’t have lots of time to play games so I feel this will feel my odd gaming niche perfectly.

Yeah I expected this game not to be that great ever since it was shown in that Nintendo direct. I already pre-ordered it because I do have some actual interest in it but mostly because I feel like I have an obligation to support DQ in the west since SE is being so picky about what game in the series they release outside Japan. If its not entertaining for too long, i'll probably drop it though.

Thanks! But why do reviews often spend so much time to explain the background story? I don't find that to have much bearing on the decision to buy, and it's often known already, so I had to skip ahead. Also the music you added to the end of the video is quite annoying 😀

@@johnciano3524 while I agree with you. Nintendo prevents dq from spreading its wings. Hence dq Remaster 1 2 3, now dq treasures. If it was on steam I would bought it day 1 today. For the record I own dqx offline via steam as dq is a good ip. But switch no thanks.
