A tip for fighter If you use the core ability that allows you to use your shield to reduce fall damage just as you fall off a monster, you can cancel the ragdoll effect and 9 times out of 10 you’ll land right back on the monster
a useful thing for trickster btw is bringing that bringing tricky terrace will actually let you trip small enemies if placed on a flat surface, which can open them up to being picked up, and slammed against walls or thrown into other enemies to knock them down for a heavy attack with your fists. you should always be doing something as trickster. there’s more than one way of supporting your pawns that doesn’t involve aromatic resurgence. creating openings on enemies to help make encounters easier for your pawns or helping them by getting in on the action yourself by unequipping your censer when you knock enemies down. another trick is that specifically when fighting drakes, if you time dragons delusion right as they’re casting, you can stagger them out of whatever they’re casting
I swore using the dragons resurgence made large enemies stagger but completely forgot about it. Should have known the resident trickster would have some tips, thanks!
@@-Nardo-Blueyeah i have a lot of hours with trickster, it’s one of my favourite vocations in the game alongside fighter, so i have quite a few tips to help people learn and get used to how trickster should be played from a mindset perspective since you have to adopt a completely different mindset when playing trickster. trickster has many things it excels at, and many things it doesn’t do very well. trickster is basically the “work smarter, not harder” vocation of this game
