1: There is button mapping. 2:The PS5 does not have performance mode, but the 30 fps is good in outdoor areas, but suffers in big fights and cities. 3: The world is well crafted and is huge. 4: It uses the Adaptive Triggers on the PS5 controller. 5: There are Golden Beetles that glow that you can find and use to add .15 to your carried weight. 6: The caves are intricate and multi-leveled. 7: There are 2 save files. One in Settings and the other for Inn. The innkeeper is also whonyou go for to deposit and retrieve items and for vocations. 8: There are 240 Seeker Tokens to find in game. 9: Pause Menu are as followed: Items, Map, Quests, Equipment, Status. History, Photo Mode, and System. 10: In System there is Save and Options. 11: In Options there is Controls, Camera, Game Settings, Interface, Display, Sound, Language, and Network. 12: There are no difficulty settings. 13: In Display there is HDR Mode on/off, and Birghtness settings. There is no performance mode. 14: Some quests are timed, so don't take on too many at a time.

i didn't even know that was a thing, i played Archer my Whole First Playthrough along with Strider Obviously but i'm not sure if that had any impact on my Dmg/defense, Or if it was simply cause i was playing on Hardmode XD

@@Lucky_Fluffy Well, it's not something you needed to do, it was only really done by people that wanted to min/max their character, to squeeze out every bit of damage mainly, but you could comfortably beat the game without doing that.

It's gunna be great. Man, I played the old Diablo 2 for years at whatever that FPS was. Think it was 20 or something crazy low.

Sounds like this game will be right up your street. It's not that you SHOULDN'T, it can just get very spicy! You'll love it!

At night even with a lantern you can hardly see beyond a few feet, you can easily get ambushed by stronger enemies and more uncommon enemies start to spawn like Lichs, Ghosts, and all manner of Undead from Zombies to Skeleton Warriors and now Dullahans and maybe Living Armor as well

There are much stronger enemies at night and the game is pitch black. You can barely see without a lantern and even with one you can only see a few feet afore you. The night usually brings undead creatures, ghosts and the like which are usually highly resistant to certain forms of attack, demanding you have a well rounded party. Most the time these enemies are highly resistant or downright immune to physical damage and either need fire or light/holy.

@@kenamada5451 It is good that I intend on becoming a mage, and perhaps consequently a Sorcerer. Perhaps I shall brave the night, but I would play it safe in the beginning. Thank you for the explanation.

This new game have that. For your curatives, energy item and for your lantern. Sadly you need to pause the game to use periapts and status effect healing items

@@PhaseShifter well, all I can say before playing is you need patience for this game. I would not go to specifics as I want you to feel the game and see for yourself. Plus I assume you already know the negative feedback for the game. But yes I do recommend it. The sequel is coming so I guess this is the perfect time to play the game.

I never had any love for min-maxing in DD1!

Yes, you can switch vocation whenever you want. No the levels you gain in one vocation do not carry over to another. Each vocation has to be leveled separately but the stats will change to be whatever vocation you switch to.

Will be rebalnced, as if your were playing new vocation from lvl 1, you can no longer min max just like in the first game

You bring a fairpoint try them all i just feel like now if i run magik archer im losing dps cause I'm assuming they are not making it where theres a melee tree then magik so stuff like theif who will be able to bully large monsters they are not going to give him max physical attack but maybe the highest stamina so inturn missing out on big damagae. ​@v-sync503

They didn't want everyone running the meta gear apparently. That was their reasoning as well

The leaks for the PS5 are (apparently) quite positive in terms of the optimisation. I haven't seen this so I can't validate that claim. If that is the case, it would perhaps be safer to go ahead with PS5 so you are more sure it plays well. As you say though, similar specs so one would think not much different; but you ever know! @@briangrant9942

From what I heard is that this DD2 takes place in a different alternate dimension than DD1. So no. You shouldn't need to play the previous to understand this one. It should feel like anyone new to the game is getting introduced the same way veterans did on the previous one.

Oh for sure steam always is Hyper critical imo the 30fps target makes people that have played 60fps in the past see the difference.

in first u dont need xbox live to hire other people pawns, offline with no internet the game gives u in game generated pawns but none have upgraded gear

There was a way to quick map healing items and other status items in the first game. From what I remember you could set it so you just had to hold one button then press one of the arrow keys and use whatever you assigned to that key so you didn't have to pause to do so. I made good use of that all the time.

@@Zeldomnyo now i know why i never knew about it, i played it back in the xbox360 and i dont think it was ever explained so i assumed it was the same for pc, at least on pc there is a tooltip telling you how to do so but if i switch to controler the tooltip disappear

@@liquid1514 a leaker beat the main story and said no new monsters outside of what has been shown. Another leaker playing says ai needs lots of work, still not good.

@@Mohgenstein That leaker rushed, sucked balls and got the bad ending and had to do it all over before he got to Postgame, which he's also rushing.

Yeah, when I am fighting in a big battle or if I am in a big city, the game has a lot of stutter and dropped frames. That is even after the 3GB patch.

I believe some people have a preference for consoles. Whether that be for space, living arrangements or just a preference for playing on console. That's totally fine!

I used to play on pc quite alot in my early and late teens but when I got older and got a job etc I sold my pc and got a ps and xbox because I just wanted to switch on play then switch off, so it pisses me off when people like you go on about how people still play on console, just stfu and let people enjoy the fucking game.
