Everyone’s talking about fluctuating scores but the scores are fluctuating between 8s and 10s lol. They can recognise it’s not for them but that objectively it is a good game.
1. These are good scores, people expecting another Elden Ring or Baldur's Gate 3 are a little bit too optimistic. 2. So far, it seems people who loved the first one adore the second, and that's what's important, especially to me, who is also a fan of the first.
@@xtr.7662 I won't know until I played it, and I do have A LOT of issues with Elden RIng, but it is grand in every way. As for BG3, I haven't played it yet. But DOS1 and 2 are easy 9+ games in their genre (Larian previous games). However, despite all this, I was basically referring to how they exploded, which is a lot of time subjective so it's rare for it to happen in that way unless it's something mainstream.
And the leader of the pack is always male. Same with every animal species that has a chief. But when Humans have the same hierarchy we'll you know the rest ♀️😤

The thing is to treat all reviews as a guide. For example someone who is impatient and likes short games on rails will not really like any big open world game.... no matter how great. But personally, I love these type of epic games with a long grind and learning curve.
@@suprchocolatez1177 I am genuinely surprised how good FF7 rebirth is. Never played original and remake was meh for me personally but rebirth is on another level..
For some reason, I feel like this channel reviews tend to be spot on for me. With exceptions to FF rebrith, while good, that game is nowhere near a 10.
Rebirth Story is a 10, side quest 9 mostly cause they always developed more characters, and chadley world intel a 7 overall though a 10 for me excluding chadley
Yeah, it's likely the video footage wasn't directly captured by the reviewer - so whoever did the video capture/editing did it on Xbox, while the actual reviewer did their gameplay on PC.
“It’s time to scrutinize reviewers’ integrity following their receipt of emails regarding microtransactions in the game . Transparency is essential to discern truth from bias.”
When the reviewer says it's bold to offer so little fast traveling, what he should have said is that we are so used to games wasting our time that I miss fast travel, even from a game that does not waste my time. The fault is not in this game, it's your expectations.
That's an interesting point; I know personally I like having sort of "hub-to-hub" travel, especially between places I've already been, because while traveling between some neighboring towns, even in games like The Witcher 3 that have excellent exploration, going between large areas can be very tedious.
@@BanjoKazooie64 To be honest, their microtransactions are scummy in all of those games, but they do make some good games. Ironically, usually the sold items aren’t even necessary.
It's a carbon coby of the first one which was a 7/10 mid game. Not sure how this game is suddenly a 9/10 considering performance is far worse. International reviewers giving it a 7/10 are way more reasonable.
@@LennyDykstra1 I played the first game, it looks exactly like the first one. Even the monsters are exactly the same, same griffons, same chimera, same goblins, same cyclops, same wolves, same grindy travel with limited port crystals, it's a carbon copy.
From what I've seen, first few hours definitely feels like it's gonna be full of goblins, wolves, harpies, skeletons, and zombies with some mini bosses here and there
30 FPS is a big let down not gonna lie. I care more about performance and FPS than graphics honestly. I’m praying they add a performance mode for PS5. I was so excited for this game😭😭
I mean, the graphics are nice i guess but not mind blowing in any way?. I'm with you on the fact that fps and performance should come before fidelity. I dunno, i get the impression that people who are okay playing a game at sub 30 fps in 2024 on a 'Next Gen' console are just liyng to themselves.
The performance issues don't seem to be related to graphics, the game is incredibly intensive on the CPU, seemingly due to a lot of simulated elements and physics heavy interactions. This means a "performance mode" would have to scale back actual gameplay functions and simulation aspects, not graphical settings. Optimisations in post-launch patches may help address the performance issues but it does seem to generally be an issue with the game's scope and systems rather than the graphics not being tuned correctly (sort of similar to Baldur's Gate 3, which itself is also deeply CPU limited on console)
What bothers me more than that, is the fact that Capcom decided to make this only have one save file like the original. I got to the very end of the first game and my save data on that ONE FILE got corrupted. 100’s of hours down the drain. Lol
man hardly felt, not sure why every one is crying about 30fps, this is game not multiplayer fast shooter, you dont have crosshair , it is a slow paced souls and 30 fps is very acceptable, i play on ps5 and i have no stutter no slowness, enjoying every moment.
@@piiixelsolutions1281Sorry to burst your bubble but everyone is crying because it's 2024 not 2014. The whole reason the ps5/Xbox series exists is so you can play games at 60fps on console. If you prefer 30fps at a higher resolution that's cool but almost every other game gives you an option for performance/graphics. For a large majority of gamers 60fps is the bare minimum...like I said it's not 2014 anymore...hence the backlash
I just got this game today and am loving it so far. They've taken everything that was good about the first game and made it even better and the character models look amazing now, whether it's your party members or npc's you meet they have gotten a huge upgrade from DD1
Most things were upgraded though there are somethings that got downgraded , but the open world aspect definitely was massively upgraded. Haven’t made it to Battahl yet but most loot in cheats feels underwhelming. Also chest don’t seem to reset like in DD1.
I havent played the original but I am intrigued on this game, especially the "no handholding"and immersive and exploration vibe (vibe same as breath of the wild) is not something you can see in most games today
Over 20 plus hours needs more things to to do. Need more side quest, better farming, hope we could swim, fishing, better NPC interaction online with friends etc... The next dogma 3 should be like that in my opinion.
The microtransactions are like Capcoms other games. Pay 3-5$ for small items that make the game easier. All stuff easily obtainable in game. Even the Deluxe edition content is obtainable in game.
Let's hope they fix up the lag and the absence of being about to change characters or start a new game without deleting local saves , that hurts a game like that
DD2 looks incredible I've never played DD1, but this sequel's a game I'm excited to play. I'm especially stoked about the 'pawns', & the ability to swap between classes (+, I'm totally going to choose Beastren... having non-human options is an advantage imo)
