There's a vendor in Rest Town that will duplicate items for you that's just behind the Inn as you get off the Oxcart. You can take an Oxcart from Vernworth. There's 2 Oxcarts in Vern. One will take you to Melve and the other to Rest Town. It will cost you 5000 Gold though to duplicate the key. As you enter Rest Town for the first time you will be given a side quest from an NPC to find a Jadeite Orb for him, then another NPC will ask you the same. You get the Jadeite Orb from the same guy who dupes items for you, then you have him dupe the orb for you. You give the real orb to the older meaner white NPC and the fake to the other young NPC. @@s1lentst3ppas68 i actually found a chest inside that has the guards armor as soon as i arrived to the sanctuary i hid inside the building and wore the armor and all the sudden they stopped attacking me Pretty wierd tbh but it worked

Yes! As with most quests, there are a couple ways to tackle it. Seems like most people need help with the "plenty of tomes" location which is the same for everyone.

Agree and disagree, the game is easy to farm and easy to level up but they designed the fight system to have many hidden mechanics that you’ll find out playing meticulously the class, same goes to quest system they made a quest locator to facilitate the quest progress but they made it in a way that you must run around infinite times to find out how to run and finish the quests. Example me and ulrika quest I can’t find her anywhere I’ve tried everything already ( pawns even says that “she should be there, but she’s not”) therefore I go around trying to do other quests until I find a way to finish this specific one without hussle and stress.

@@joshuahenderson7816go to the little town outside of Batthal. There’s a shop that copies items for a small fee. I think the town is called checkpoint? It’s in the southern region of the map.

It's Rest Town. It's not far from Vernworth and can even take an Oxcart from Vernworth. One Oxcart takes you to Melve and the other takes you to Rest Town. Batthal is much further than Vernworth from Rest Town.

He might be dead somehow. My pawns accidentally killed Kendrick and I found his body chilling by the cliffside, had to revive him ofc. Used my last wake stone to save his ass.

Exact same thing happend to me, everyone was attacking. I tried to just die a few times and then realised that it did not bring back half the village I just slaughtered so I ended up loading from last rest In (which luckily not too long before that, so I had to redo maybe 25 min)...redid it again and just snuck in from the bottom entrance.

I actually let Kendrick hit me once and spammed the wait command on my party and after like 3 min he stopped and I was able to get the quest

@@juniorbacon7903 if you go to the top of the stairs (from the palace entrance) there’s a well with a ladder. Just go down them and you’ll find it

@@HeyMaxCrumm first you want to follow the girl when you are about to do the masquerade mission she will lead you, if that doesn’t work there is a chest next to where gaol is that contains the armor. You want to climb from outside and walk along the ledge

The magistrate tried to kill you?! Were you there at night? Did you damage them by hitting them? Did you go there without having the quest available? I can't really think of any reason that would happen.

@@Maka91Productions yeah the magistrate tried to kill me it was super annoying I died about 3 times and got imprisoned then i tried using the last saved inn and it fixed the issue I was able to talk to him and do the quest. Thanks for commenting and trying to help really appreciate it!

@@staryTS yea that i dunno if can be fixed on that specific save i was refering to my situation ( i had forgotten to grab the copy i had made , so i couldnt let him out the way it was supposed to i just carried his ass upstairs n put him down outside then went n grabbed the forgery key)

The key is a loan from Brant and should work as many times as you need it. You will return it to him after the quest.

I’m ngl I kind of agree with you, I got this shit cause the combat looked really fun but most of the time I’m playing run in the forest simulator

@@muscleman6 I played though the first one last year, yeah it was slow and clunky but I put that down to its age and it being a ps3 game at its core I wouldnt expect this one to be the same but with better graphics, its 2024 and this is a full priced triple A game and a lot of older last gen games shit all over it

Facts man the ones saying the fast travel is no big deal like WHAT!?! Game feels like a chore 10k gold for 1 ferrystone to fast travel and if you don't have that welp sucks for you now you gotta walk it from melve all the way past the mountains to the palace AGAIN! deadass don't know what the dev team was thinking with the fast travel bullshit 😂

I know the devs going patch in an unlimited amount with the new update but yeah at 10m a piece smh. Ima do the money glitch where u sell ripened apples to the beast people for 370 a piece the guy makes 150-300,000 per hour

They really should have included fast travel

Use the ox carts. You pay 100-200 gold and it fast travels you there. One of them even took me to a whole new city halfway across the map
