Bro hard mode is literally easy mode, it gives too much gold and is barely different, hell, a lot of skills get MEGA buffed in hard mode. I rarely take more that 1 dmg in a hit to anything outside bbi and that's only at like lvl 20ish lol
Yep, hard mode may seem scary, but once you try it, there's no going back. All reward, with very little risk. Besides all of that, this video is basically useless anyway. Nobody needs to farm armor or weapons this way. The only thing worth while here is the lvl3 gear. Look up the Daimon barrel glitch & go that route. Weapons, armor, & novelties are a dime a dozen.
Man if only they knew the barrel glitch After killing Daimon the first time, you can literally get unlimited supply of lvl 3 armor lvl 3 weapons and lvl 3 novelties 😢 And few know that if you do it until the in-game day rolls over, you will have officially killed Daimon twice without having to actually fight him again
also, why did the wraith let go of you @0:35? Do they always let go after some time (guess not)? Or did it 'leash' because you went too far from its initial spawning point?
This is how game is streamed it seems. Each subarea you enter loads/unloads enemies. This is most probably remnant of PS3 sacrifices where there is only 256/256 RAM. Not present in that area simply disappears ;)
I'm hella late but as far as I've notice...wraith, ghosts, specter n such let go of you after they do their damage or get hit by an enemy as well as pawns or simply get hit by yet another debihilation. Damage based on your resistance to them n difficulty of game play
Sorry for the intervention, but gear level 3 is easier to get in the area Ward of regred, and armor level 3 in midnight helix, armor level 3, of course, in the fallen city or more easily in daimon (using the ranger and blast arrows).
I know, I already did those two areas ;) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TkzKEV4USHA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tCG2wRspzgc.html problem is how chests give the loot (at least to my testing). each chest in each game playthrough gets fixed loot types aka. (this is just example,... normal chance torso and head, semi rare boots and really rare gloves). so, if you constantly loot same chest you have a really hard time completing sets. whole thing depends on how loot was defined per chest where with good luck you would get the two in MH having different common items and you could complete sets really easy. but, if they aren't you might just as well be in fairy tail SSS quest ;) best and easiest way to collect armors is to iterate all chests and enemy drops (enemy drop loot is the same for death, daimon and wyvern) and nope, i would never ever use blast arrows in this game. you lose way more time by running slow that you gain on killing daimon and daimon is pushover no matter which class you come at him
Hmmm, checking more I can see why it could be confusing. I forgot to mention areas after Bishop in video title. I did do that in video title in tube. Hmmm, to redo or not to redo... this is a question ;)
I actually how the devs actually enable "cheesing." I dunno if it was intentional or not but they've had plenty of opportunity to remove a lot of it from the game
Yes, he is part of RNG for that chest. And the more chests you open before that, the more you increase his chance. To reset his position you can just exit/reenter location
Should I be farming for these on hard mode? Some of the bigger enemies will one shot me even with gdf weapons and armor. Freaking garms man if it weren't for the rusted box and petrified arrows I'd just avoid these entirely. And elder ogres have killed me the most because I cannot for the life of me twist my joystick fast enough without seriously hurting my hand. I just capped at 200 and can see a difference from when I first started BBI. And my main pawn is a sorcerer and I've given her all the hardcore spells for crowd control. I have a mage for the soul purpose of healing and I have a ranger like me. I don't know if that's a good team but I'm experimenting. I did get the oblivion jacket that has health regen so that's a plus.
The worst enemies for me have to be living armors, eleminators and shock-wyrms.The Fallen City is a pain for me if there's two shock-wyrms, they just spam smite, torpor and poison over and over. It takes me 20 minutes to get near them, than living armours join in and i'm raging at this point.
This is the worst chest n the game I sware, I've literally lost count how many attempts I've made so far , just for a weapon, maybe killing dai would be quicker, esp wt explosive rivets.. everything else tho ran smooth, thanks for this vid
My Low Level FULL OUT (vocation) playlists? ;) Kind of hard to answer if you don't tell anything about your vocation, level or weapons. Or at least that would be bible, not forum post ^.^
Go in the Rift. Check 'Top Ranked This Month'. Choose pawns lvl 100 and over. Send friend requests. When people see you're playing DDDA they'll usually add you. They earn tons of crystals. You get high lvl boss spankers for free. win win!
@Jimbo MacRoth Don't know if that is a good advice. Top 100 already earns too much RC to ever spend and all you do is sink players who could really use RC even lower to the land where they are never found. At least I prefer giving RC to people who are not listed in top 100 month/all time I bothered with my pawn for one month to collect RC regularly and it was at nr.2 spot. That amounted to 30-40 million RC which go figure... you CANNOT spend since by the time you spend around 10 you already have absolutely everything. And in 3 months you'd hit 99.999.999 which is a cap where all earned RC goes to void and only shows up in pawn ranking But, the truth is that those pawns aren't really better, they are just boosted which is pretty much the simplest thing in this game. If I wanted I could make my pawn nr.1 without any problem. You boost it to top 10 and then mindset like yours just keeps them up Isn't it better to give RC to those who need it? I am always on the side of underdogs, this is also the reason why I don't want to collect RC on that account until last day in the month where I don't break rankings. Highest amount of rents I had like that was 413 since pawn is favorited by a lot of people
That makes sense. You're right. I'm still fairly new to the game. This is the method that I used naturally when I learned pawns on your friend list are free and I was trying to get some BBI loot early. I had no idea about the fair distribution of RC.
@Jimbo MaxRoth Don't worry, everyone is or at least was the same ;) But, I have to say thanks for giving me the idea for original Dogma video. Not just this, there are whole lot of good or polite ethical ways in this game which most people never realize
it's faster to just farm daimon rather than doing this godsbaning all the time. get some blast arrows and conqueror's periapts and you can kill them both in about 5 minutes total time from the harbor.
Good luck doing that ;) I guess you don't know how lv.3 armor chests work. Farming one single armor chest will take around 5x or more needed cursed items to collect it And why would I need blast arrows? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_LfEI0V8Gg0.html I used blast arrows in '13... after that,... nope, just cheapens the game
@@gravelydiggs2139 you’re right man, legit battles against chests are some of the best fights in the game, even more if there’s a mimic in the chest. Can’t believe he’s cheating himself out of a chest battle with the godsbane
If you're on PC you can set things to hotkeys. Go into inventory and find the item(in this case lantern) highlight it and hit any of the 1-5 number keyes. It will set it to the number you hit. You can verify it by checking the top right corner of the items icon, it should have the number you hit.
@@gorytarrafa no problem! glad i could help :) unfortunately not everything can be hot keyed. like i wanted the eternal ferrystone but you cant hot key it :(
Where even is this? I've been playing in my Switch and I haven't seen this place at all. I know it's Bitterblack Isle but for the life of me I haven't been able to find the missing keys for those locked doors (which I assume takes you there)
I started doing that for videos. It is just that this was one of my first videos and I never use lantern at all when I play non recorded game even now Once you play without for as long as I, you don't even notice something is missing ;)
In PC version you can set up 5 shortcuts. You just set your self over item once and press number 1-5. Sadly, it only works with lantern or consumables where I would very much prefer if I could assign shortcut to weapons. I think PS4 version allows them as well, but not sure.
Don't understand which demons Did you kill Daimon first form or not? I mean if you kill this one or not ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-87FOqeVl_qE.html
It's a shame that this game was designed to have the player constantly save/suicide/reload. Boring AF. That, and repeatedly having to whittle away at the online Ur-Dragon, hope you're online for the grace period, and hope you get the drop you want.
Heh, I never even bother with Ur-Dragon ;) That is probably obvious from this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YgE_SUO4HRY.html While the rest of the remarks. I couldn't agree more. Sometimes I get the feeling that game was designed by two giggling preschool girls who heard the word penis for the first time. Either that or there is something really masochistic in japanese mentality that is completely incomprehensible to the rest of the world. I mean, this game has one awesome element and that is combat... and the more you play the story, the more you get the feeling that they wanted you to do everything but that
I would rather say this game wasn't designed for gamers like you. I've never got tired and bored of it playing for ages. I don't constantly save/suicide and reload. That's for sure.
Today I tried what you are showing in this video and as well as Midnight Helix ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TkzKEV4USHA.html In summary this methods are much more effective than farm death for Lv. 3 Armor and Weapons. Death is not efficient. I fought him today as well. He disappeared two times before I could eliminate him and then he did not even drop a single Lv. 3 cursed item. People should know this. In the other hand farming death for Rift Crystals that makes sense. I mean this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XLX8eIuN18c.html
Death is never efficient for armor or weapons. But, it is a chance for some people to obtain them before facing Daimon. Most people think lv.3 are answer to everything and ignore the easy obtainable lv.2 which you can buy at Barroch and are just 6-7% weaker. Sad thing being, lv.2 are easy to upgrade where lv.3 you can only upgrade post Daimon which makes lv.2 for that much, much stronger ;)
Until I saw your videos I never hunted for Lv3. But is actually fun because you get the feeling, that you are tricking the game. lol ;D On the other hand you were talking about the ability of the ?oblivion? armor to regenerate stamina. For that reason (and for the prospect ot get black armor) I started hunting. I got the boots of oblivion but it does not say anything about stamina regeneration. Maybe I was mistaken.
Nope, gloves CAN have that effect. You will have to purify god knows how many armors to get one. You can get any available enchantment... or none. Usually, the one you want is the last you get dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Arisen_Bonus_Enhancements Just imagine the chance. 1. armor has to purify into gloves 2. if you're specific on which one you want there are always two per color. In case of yellow that is Shadow or Oblivion 3. after first two RNG... good luck getting the right enchantment out of 5 or 6 where more useless ones have higher probability
Oh well it is just for the optic then. I pass the cursed items around between my profiles if I do not get what I want. A Lv 3 cursed item was Blasphemer's Cloak with an arisen level 132 but it turned into the oblivion boots with an arisen level 30. The funny thing is with that 132 Arisen I could not go around this Blaphemer's Cloak. I picked up new Lv 3 Items, the first one again was that Coat, which mainly boosts elemental resistance. I usually do not wear it. And had gifted to the very same Arisen a cursed Lv 3 item before when he was around level 120 and it would have been that coat. I passed it to another profile (Lv 30 Arisen) and there it became the hood of oblivion.
Yes, it changes to loot table from that account. But, if you gift item... next one on the one you were gifting will be the same and so until you purify and save You cannot avoid that Blasphemer's cloak.
