I wanted to say something sooner, but it has been quite difficult to think of something to say regarding Akira Toriyama's passing. It took some time for the reality that hes gone to hit me. I can't stop coming back to this message and adding new things to it because I keep remembering other ways this man has affected my life and the world....So I'll do my best not to ramble too much. I of course never met the man himself, and yet he has shaped my life in so many ways I can't even begin to describe. This channel was in part inspired by him, hell the name was taken from the most iconic technique he ever conceptualized. The best friend I have in this world, I made, albeit indirectly, because of Dragon Ball. I have memories as a child of bonding with my father through the tapes of Dragon Ball Z he collected. Hell, my first ever crush was a Dragon Ball Z character (Android 18). As someone who is an aspiring writer and has conceptualized several series, a Dragon Ball Z fanfiction is the first ever work I published and used to try and better myself as a writer. In my original works, Dragon Ball and the stories made by Akira Toriyama have all been a massive influence for me. This video, along with it's predecessor are some of the things I'm most proud of ever creating and it has been enjoyed quite literally over a million times by countless people. Some of whom even humbled me by telling me how this video helped them, whether by inspiring them, or simply being something they enjoyed listening to while playing a game. In reality, it was Akira Toriyama who made all of that possible. And any amount of help I provided people through these videos by using works he and those he worked with created only pales in comparison to the millions, perhaps billions of people he inspired, whether directly or indirectly. From RU-vidrs like Geekdom to Jacksepticeye. To athletes, to celebrities. To TV shows and movies. Especially in the world of anime and manga, from One Piece to Jujutsu Kaisen. Dragon Ball has changed and shaped the media landscape and the way only true titans of media do. The likes of characters like Batman, Spider-Man, Transformers, Mario, etc. Dragon Quest, Dragon Ball, Dr Slump, Chrono Trigger and the countless series like Sonic, My Hero Academia and Naruto cannot be understated. Hell, series I love where i can't think of a potential Dragon Ball influence, like Persona and Fire Emblem, may have never gotten the opportunity to appear and thrive in the West like they have, may have never gotten that opportunity without Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is the father of modern anime, especially the Shonen Genre and it all came from the mind and hands of Toriyama. He might be gone, but he changed the world, even if he didn't realize it. Rest in Peace to Akira Toriyama, and thank you for all the memories and the countless lives you've changed. Until then, to quote Dragon Soul, "nothing ever dies. We will rise again." - Rasen

Wow. I just realized this video was released for years ago about four days ago. Can't believe I missed the four year anniversary of my favorite, and most successful video. Now, we have Dragonball Super, Dragonball Xenoverse, a growing fanbase, a Buu Saga in Kai, and god knows how many DBZTubers out there. Alright, five years since this upload, and I'm less than 10,000 views away from a million views....I cannot believe anything I EVER created even came close to this milestone and I'm happy. I am currently working to become a RU-vidr and reviving this channel with content, unfortunately, I may not continue with AMV's, but I have some things in mind, but before I do any of that, to celebrate 1,000,000 views on this video, I am currently working on a remix of this song and this AMV which WILL feature clips from Battle of Gods, Revival of F and Dragonball Super. Hey guys, remember me? I was the one that told that story about how I got into the DragonBall Series. I stopped it at a certain point. But I saw others still wanted to know how it continued. Well I will. For people wanting to know the beginning of the story. You'll be able to read it here so that way you won't have to waste ages trying to find it yourself. Part 1: I started watching DragonBall Z Kai back in late 2008 when it started airing on 4Kids. At first I kinda liked it but I storta didn't like the violence when it got Serious. (If you can call the 4Kids version serious. XD) Then a few days after my 6th birthday my Great-Uncle got me a game called, DragonBall​ Origins. It was the first DragonBall​ game I've ever played and The one of the first games I've played to be rated T for Teen. I'm guessing my Great-Uncle didn't look at the ESRB Rating for this game. I bet my Uncle was thinking, "Oh what's this Game? By the Looks of it I see a black haired kid that's riding a gravity defying cloud, a blue haired girl, a pig that look like he's about to go to war, an old man that's wearing a turtle shell for some reason and a bald Dude. This looks promising. This will be a perfect late birthday gift for my Great-Newphew." I loved the game. It was really Fun but it did Get annoying At times. I didn't beat it though. Then once 4Kids officially died in 2009, I stopped watching DragonBall Z Kai for a While. That brings us to 2011 when I started watching it again during the time It was airing on NickToons. When I first saw the commercial, I freaked the heck out and got really excited. So excited that I when the episode came on, I sang the theme from the sheer nostalgia I was having. I watched It day and night. Part 2: At the time I began to like the anime really quickly. But I never knew about the entire series. The only anime I knew of was DBZKai. While it wasn't a different anime from the series that I would see next, but it was something that was probably better. The DragonBall Z movies. NickToons began airing the movies, and while I maybe have only watched 2 and a half of them, I saw commercials for all the movies that aired, it made me like the series even more. The movies I watched were Broly the Legendary Super Sayian, Broly's Second Coming, and most of Super Android 13. At the time I had a whole lot of questions involving Broly's Second Coming story wise as it took place during the Buu Saga, which DBZKai never had an english dub of yet. (Yeah I know it's not cannon but you get what I mean. XD) But yeah I continue to watch it after that, then eventually Kai and the movies stopped airing on NickToons. Eventually in 2012. A trailer for another DragonBall anime that was coming to NickToons was shown. That anime was known as DragonBall GT. I was super pumped to know what happened after the Cell Saga. Even if it wasn't cannon. Then I watched it and uhh... While I liked the first episode, I got pretty disinterested not too long afterwards. I didn't hate GT, (Although I don't blame anyone who does.) it just left more to be desired, therefore I only watched a portion of the anime. While DBZKai began to air again for a short period of time in early 2013, things took a turn for the worse as by that time both DragonBall Z Kai and DragonBall GT stopped airing on NickToons all together. My guess is that either a contract made between Nick and Funimation allowing DragonBall Z Kai, the movies, and GT to be aired, expired or that since Toonami recently came back from the dead at the time, Funimation started to air it there, thefore Nick, couldn't. Actually now that I think about it, both of those hypothesis go together in a way. But yeah, since I had no idea that Toonami was a thing, by the time I was 9, the DragonBall series was pretty absent from me. Comment if you guys like the story still and would like to know more.

I wanted to listen a couple more times after I found out the news today that…. The God of Shonen Anime has died. He was my hero and the reason I watched anime in the first place. This is so sudden. The Manga and the Anime have had a gigantic impact on me z and many other artists and creators of manga/anime/cartoons even video games. He really left a big impact on the world and now he gone…. Rest in Peace.

Update on the remix: The "Ultra Instinct version" which I have dubbed this remix, is now complete and will be uploaded on Christmas day! I worked hard on it, and while I hesitate to say it's better or even as good as it's predecessor, I do think I have done an effective job and believe at least most of you will enjoy it! I hope you're all as excited as I am.

Still one of the most nostalgic things I’ve ever heard. I watched DBZ Kai when I was little, and then I watched the original. This is still of my favorite DBZ songs.oh man, so nostalgic. And this is just such a great song too. What an amazing opening to such an amazing remake of such an amazing anime. Man, the nostalgia is real with this one.
