I replied to you on FB but wanted to post here too... I have struggled to articulate that part. I think that by having the staff roll down the arm slanted from elbow to wrist it naturally wants to pivot at the wrist. Try keeping the elbow bent and the wrist bent downwards to encourage the staff to take the path back up the inner forearm

Awesome teacher! If you can, do you think you could make a tutorial on a jesus roll?? The only tutorials online I can find are like one minute :( it would be amazing if you could make a tutorial you are an amazing instructor!

Its tough to articulate that part. It happens somewhat naturally from the staff rolling along along the forearm in an oval shape. I think that raising/lowering the arm with the move helps too. Ill pick up the dragon when i get home and see if i can find a more helpful way of explaining that part.
