Don't cry because it ended, smile because it happened. Rest in Peace, Akira Toriyama you were part of our childhood around the world and we won't forget you. You are an Angel in our hearts now.
RIP Toriyama-san. Thank you for creating a legendary series like Dragonball that inspired me from early childhood to continue to keep pushing forward in this crazy world of ours another day no matter how tough life gets...
Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama !!! I grew up, in France, in the 90's, with DB classic and DBZ. You inspired me to draw. And now, I'm a comic artist. You will be remembered, Senseï 😢 To the eternity !!!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️ THANK YOU !!!!!!!! 😢
Words cannot even come close to expressing the grief that I, among millions of others, am feeling right now. Dragon Ball was my one true escape from years of bullying throughout Primary and Secondary school, and i would not be where i am today without Akira Toriyama. Literally, art and illustration was my passion from a very young age thanks to that man, and I’m currently enrolled at my dream art college thanks to the dreams he gave me. Fly high, Toriyama-sensei 🕊️🕊️
The mind, spirit, and just pure energy this man had was just incredible. Akira toriyama is the most influential person in my life. He created my favorite anime of all time. He gave me inspirations to work out and to actually train hard, and I’m just at a loss for words this man is one of the people that you just didn’t expect to be gone for another 20-30 years. Just me typing this while this song is playing is really making me tear up like really bad. The memories this man will bring and continue to bring for many years until the end of time. Hope other world treats you well toriyama. To my friends: Let’s embrace the light and dream on! Look! There’s a rainbow floating in your eyes!
Im listening this tonight as my final goodbye to the man who gave us the greatest childhoods that will forever be remembered and live on in stride. Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama, you were the man who gave me something to love forever more 💛💙💛💙🙏🏾
RIP Akira Toriyama you are the reason why the anime become popular in our world. Thank you for your creation of the dragon ball series. You will never be forgotten for the next generation.
My old school friend took a picture of goku as "his inspiration person" when presenting to the class he made a speech on what he wants to be and such, everyone laughed and not many knew who goku was, k Just why is there a cartoon picture.... years later hes ripped a fu*k, works at a military drill sergeant, been to Iraq, has a beautiful wife and kids and volunteer at a gym for disadvantaged children helping them put frustratuon into boxing and changing their lives...... he may not be a super sayian but he is a super something to those kids
Thank you, akira toriyama. Being a part of our lives, thank you for giving us years of adventures and the memories that came with them. Your work inspired so many in life, R.I.P, and rest well.
I'm Mexican, here after the news of what happened to Mister Toriyama. For many, just someone who drew to make a living. But to me, to my Nation, to practically all the South American continent, the creator of our childhoods. He has earned his wings now, and we shall remember his legacy from now till the end and beyond.
This chokes me up a little bit because when I see Goku with angel wings looking down on Gohan. It reminds me of my own dad who died 2 years ago suddenly of an illness. I just can see my dad looking down on me and just smiling at me saying "It's okay my son."
Rest in peace to you Akira. I can proudly say that your work inspired me to push forward through tough journeys in life and not just mine but so many others globally. You will be missed for as long as time and existence may forbid your legacy upon the time that was given for you being here with us. You will NEVER be forgotten. Thank you for everything.
After a long day at work, the news finally reached me Dragon ball z and its universe made me the man i am today It was and still is my best memories when i was a kid
So? Dragon Ball is a Shonen. Which is a demographic term for manga and anime mainly targeted towards early to late teen boys (12-18). Most adults in Japan (even today) read the manga and watch the anime at your age.
I cry, every time i see this, once when they show Piccolo, and again when they show Goku watching over his baby boys from heaven...it gets me every time.
Thanks you, Akira Toriyama for this great franchise that has marked many generations up to the present day. Your legacy will never forgotten. Farewell, master ➰🕊️
