The original video quality was not very good, so I thought that I would remake the video using the remastered dvd collection. The timing is a little different than the original video due to the fact that the last creator edited the song to make it shorter. This is the full length song.
And just one last thing, to all those who are going to comment and saying that this video sucks because its not timed exactly like the previous version, will have their comments removed. The timing is different due to artistic licence and nothing more.

it's tradition to come back every now and then to watch this masterpiece. I’m 21 years old now and this was the first AMV I’ve ever watched.. I was too young and can’t even remember when was the first time I watched it, probably 7 or 8 years old. Damn it feels so nostalgic I really miss those days, life was more enjoyable without socialmedia bullshit

I have a sad story about this AMV, when I was a child i downloaded it through Kaazaa (I live in Brazil, and the internet was soooooo slow) and I got addicted on this AMV and Music, but my parents hate DBZ and used to say this is evil and bla bla bla... and then one day I returned from scholl and all my AMVs was deleted, gone ;( and some years ago I look all over youtube to find this again, and I did, I was so young and didnt speak english, so i didnt remember the lyrics and this make the search harder, but i found! Just wanted to share this with you. Nice remake, I loved.

Well, there have been better ones to come out over the years, but none of those have the nostalgic value this AMV has so they will probably never rise above it in popularity. Many of us saw this an unhealthy number of times when we were young (*cough* me *cough), and for a large number of us it made such an impression that even a more current AMV that is just as good or better likely would not be able to top it in our minds.

I rank it in the top five, for sure, but in all honesty, the top five tend to rotate like a volleyball team, you know? Others I rank in the tops are the Gundam Wing AMV of Creed's "What If..?", the Gundam SEED AMV of Linkin Park's "Breaking The Habit", the Rurouni Kenshin AMV of "Rapid", and the Cowboy Bebop AMV of Megadeth's "Insomnia".

This brings back memories. I watched the old AMV at least 50 times probably when I was a kid. It's been years. I still get chills. It's hands down the best moment in DBZ. It's a shame Gohan and the show go downhill from here.

I literally can't listen to this song without thinking of this video. I hadn't watched it in probably more than 15 years and didn't even know if it still existed. SO glad it is still around and now the update in HD is amazing. Even so many years later it gives me chills.

man oh man the memories…downloading this took at least eight hours with our AOL internet lol Being 12 years old during 1997-2003 was like winning the lottery with Toonami and playing classics like Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask and Wind Waker, Final Fantasy VII-X, the Metal Gear Solids, both Dark Clouds, Zone of the Enders, Kingdom Hearts, Xenogears and Xenosaga, Jak & Daxter, etc. Absolute Golden Age.

Thanks so much for remaking and posting this. I had no idea anyone other than me remembered or cared about this ancient AMV. It was probably this that introduced me to Metallica, and Metallica that introduced me to a lot of other music that accompanied my tumultuous teen years. I would call this video a seminal influence on my own artistic development.

I watched this video for the first time probably about 16 or 17 years ago when I was in 6th grade. I downloaded it on Kazaa for those of you who remember that. This video got me into Metallica and I eventually ended up watching DBZ which turned out to be a great series. So now I look back on this video every now and then and think how it influenced me and just how well it was put together. Good job on the HD remake version. This video should go down as one of the greatest music videos of all time.

I was looking for this for years but all it had was that shitty quality one. I remember first seeing it when I was 7 during the Kazaa days. This was my all time favorite video of dragon ball z as a child. It sent chills down my spine then and it sends chills down my spine now. Thanks for the upload. I never really got into the anime music video fad myself, too much Vegeta to Superbeast getting rehashed over and over. I do however remember watching the original of this many many years ago and loved it. Not only because it was actually well timed and edited, but it was also the first time I heard No Leaf Clover which since has become, and still is, one of my favorite pieces of music ever.
