BRAWLERS GUILD! We want it back! We love the spectator aspect of it while you wait your turn and very unique rewards (not player power, just cosmetics and brawlers guild only power ups (similar to pvp talents and items)
*You* love the spectator aspect btw, imho what mike has suggested in the past is best: Keep it as an option but other than that phase it so you are able to do it completely solo if you are in the mood for it. Figuring out the right tactic for a boss and having to wait another 7+people until its your turn again or frantically trying to cheat the system in order to get phased is NOT fun!
@@The86Ripper I actually would counter by saying that by watching other people do it in real time, I learn from other people. I remember exchanging strats with other people and even yelling it at them while they're in the arena. It's literally like a fight club but against NPC bosses and with real player members. Lastly, I dont remember the wait time being long enough to be annoying or bothersome.
@@teej143 Yeah i hear you, that has happened to me as well. All iam saying is give us options, this is the new blizzard who actually cares for giving players options. The old blizzard for example would never do dynamic *and* old school flying so yeah i think the key to make most people happy is approach it from both sides. Everyone's time is limited and if what they said at blizzcon is to be true about respecting player's time then just have every option that can be enabled be enabled from the get go. Honestly if i was a dev i would approach everything in the game with that mindset in regards to gameplay.
You can tell they really pay attention to their competitors... or play their games. All this dynamic mount stuff is straight out of GW2, which is was hailed as quite revolutionary and many were saying "At least they are not just reskins for the same movement like WoW." Good to see WoW catching up.
honestly im glad they are going back to "what other games are doing, but better" that honestly was the bread and butter of blizzard and they were extremely good at it in the past.
If people were to go back and recall the voting event Blizzard hosted where the top vote would become a real mount. One of those options has yet to come out, you know the Nerubian mount that they claimed would be able to climb up walls and surfaces. If what they are saying about dynamic mounts is true and bringing back utility to various mounts, we may just be seeing the wall crawling nerubian in the near future.
There are several ground mounts I was super hyped up about when they appeared, like the gronnling and the limited edition meatwagon. Both had exciting "press spacebar" features, but both were quickly phased out once flying became an option and also when flying training gold cost was removed. It would be great to make ground mounts fun again, especially for guilds who want to hold "mount off" events and raffles.
Guess it would have been to easy to nerf the rares in the Forbidden Reach and Zaralek to an appropriate level to solo them ... I doubt their intentioned "fix" will work out
3:43 ... just think of GW2 and how dragon flight is cloning it? Seems to me a clone of the raptor mount front jump. It might mean that in the future, all we see in GW2's mounts, will also be in the wow mounts? pretty cool ... for a clone :))
It’d be cool if one day we get to the point of mounts having different perks (that make sense). Some flying mounts may be faster than others, some may be more manoeuvrable, maybe some ground mounts could pull carts, etc. We have it to a point with the ones that can walk on water.
WoW is a collection of games and I don't mean, WotLK Classic, Drsgonflight, Rumble, but what you have inside the WoW itself. And by that you can think of raiding, pvp, m+, outdoor, battle pets etc. All those are in some manner their own games tightly or losely connected/intertwined between each other
I still pine for a MOBA battleground. I don't even mind if they set it in the HOTS world if the old dragon map is too retro, just more BGs in general would be appreciated
They did say that there would be more BGs soon, I think. The Warfronts were kinda like a MOBA, so it's not too crazy of an idea. Right now, the faction war is over and PvP is being played less than ever (from what I've heards), so I'm a bit worried that Blizzard is gonna end up ruining BGs.
If you want a race with normal feet just play a race with normal feet. I hate people who want to remove the unique appearance flavor of a race to look more human. It's like undead players crying about looking too undead. If you wanna wear boots, pick a race who's feet aren't adapted to going barefoot like trolls..
How in hell did Blizz conclude that forcing rares to despawn is the correct action? They just need to turn them into regular rares that have slightly increased health. Keeping them elites is the main problem--they are effectively dungeon bosses that only tanks can really do anything about, and the worst part is they are the only reliable way to farm rare profession formulas.
make the ground mounts more interactive with the world around them, like high jump, sprint speed, etc... things like in gw2 for example, and none of this.. They can't do that cause of coding/ graphics engine bs... It's 2023. that's no excuse. also improve on the dragonflight system and allow other mounts that can fly in on the system. If they can do those things, then I for one will be more inclined to do things in the open world and not just want to fly over everything.
Over time those coding issues can be overcome, but if your initial systems aren't designed for it, its probably much harder to just add on something completely new that doesn't mesh well without completely rebuilding it. Hence dynamic flight; normal flying still exists and instead of changing THAT system, they built a new one. A similar system for ground mounts will likely be a completely new system for them instead of changing the current one. And Blizzard *is* adding whats called dynamic flying to old world content (like Kalimdor/EK, unsure about the rest) either in 10.2.5/.7 or in TWW
Those numbers leave a bit to be desired since it can't include people who never touch a raid, the numbers are obviously still useful but don't tell the whole story.
Do dynamic ground mounts make sense though now that we have dynamic flying on release with new expansions? Like where would we even use ground mounts now

Normal raids maybe “easy” but I think it’s perfect for “normal/story/casual difficulty” that LFR ls but with a little more organization for that type of player / guild.
Heroic and mythic difficulties should be the ones that are more challenging (as their tier and names suggest). That way, casual players and guilds can still enjoy and feel rewarded by raids and they can remain integral parts of the story instead of being ignored by vast numbers of players
Ive heard the idea that LFR just becomes a story mode and drops no progression gear for people who want to see the story and flavor. I dont hate that idea, itd get rid of the awkward parts where people feel forced into LFR to optimize gear progression even though they may raid at higher tiers and dislike LFR gameplay.

Dragonflight flying is go good, bliz really should implement it across all mounts to all zones and areas, basically all of Azeroth is dragonflight flying.
Seems like a bad fix for rares. The flying ball of rare annihilation spam isn’t usually fun gameplay. I have more fun when it’s just me or a couple players and we need to manage cooldowns and treat it like a mini boss… as long as it’s even possible to try and doesn’t take an hour. Highlights the problem with most world content in WoW.. finding balancing between when it’s new and popular, when it’s no longer hot, and then when it’s dead and no one does the thing. And balancing rewards.
I really am dumbfounded they didn’t insert an in game Hearthstone and now Rumble. If there was a unique one n game Hearthstone with challenges to certain cards via in game events or drops would be great.
I got to say - This and the next expansion are pulling me back to WOW. Mainly because features are here to stay, I really liked Legion, but really hated what they did with(and after it) - we add a new feature that you got to farm, then next expansion we remove it and add another feature that you need to farm. I want the new features to be here to stay !
vampire survivors in WoW seems like a cool idea but its just a matter if they can actually make the WoW version fun. I thought maybe Torghast could have been fun since it was a rogue-like but I was bored very quickly and not just because it was a chore. Dynamic ground mounts is a very cool idea though. Depending on how fast/fun they make it I would actually love to travel by ground for a change.
Wither training and Torghast should have been far better than it was. If they can do a rogue-like where you can possibly get abilities from ALL classes throughout your run, that would be sick. Like choose a base class to start with and get their auto attack, but then you could possibly get whatever abilities from other classes dropping. I think that would be sick.
If you missed out on grinding Zaralekk for for literally an entire season 4-6months? Then tough tittus. Wait till the next expansion or s4 gear upgrades
Korraks revenge is only back in name. I was in que 13 hours to get into one match. Ever since they killed the xp gain and leveling method no one ques for it anymore.
More minigameq would be neat. Imagine how much better the command tables would have been received if instead of just clicking on followers and watching a timer, some missions opened up an instanced Warcraft scenario. Like straight up old RTS Warcraft level. Even keep the old graphics for charm and nostalgia. Wouldn't have to be anything super involved either, something like "capture a mine, build a barracks, and harvest x amount of lumber". That would have been so dope.
Could you please do a video on PvP? In 2s and 3s, only 2k + players are playing even sub 1k and it's impossible for new players to play. There is no way a new player would stick with this and the game will not draw new players into arena. Thank you.

Oh yea more MOUNTS to add to my 400 mounts I already have and cant use....... Less people playing and the areas being DEAD after 10 pm but KEEP PRETENDING its getting better.......
That ground mount sounds like a bite at Guild Wars 2's roller beetle mount, which is the other really fun and original mount that game has. Their physics allows Anet to create races for it. It sucks for Anet if Blizzard starts copying all their unique features, but ngl I'd be pretty excited to see that in Warcraft. I like the game better.
did he just call fyrak normal easy? do you even know how many wipes I've done in pug groups 1st week to kill fyrak normal lel, and I'm way above average player, 95 parses in normal/hero, 2.6k rio each season, and curve
The Vampire survivor thing was already existing with a quest in Azure Span when you ride a large book for a quest to kill things. Will be interesting to see what they do with it, in a game mode.
I have sunk a shameful amount of time into VS, and an even greater and shamefuller amount into WoW. I'm trying to imagine the VS gameplay and loop in a 3d world like WoW. I am terrified at what it could mean for what little time I have left.
The problem with the claim that they have "more content still left in Dragonflight" is that we've already seen the crap they pumped out from launch until now.... and it failed. It failed to actually be consistent with past lore. It failed to be consistent even with itself. It violated a bunch of lore we already had and ruined whatever it was allowed to touch. Now we've got slave dominated Hivemind dragons with a "together virus" that have "NEVER" developed anything about Life/Time/Magic/Earth and just made Dream all the more convoluted and irrelevant. The purpose of the dragon aspects was never about D.I.E. preaching or family.....that is complete BS. So no..... we cannot trust that any of the minor throwaway patches will have any story that was worth paying for either.
What this game needs is LESS balance in PvP. True balance will never exist in an MMO game, if you want balance you should play a PvP game. Modern WoW PvP is a terrible experience and has an extremely high barrier to entry precisely because you cant kill anybody or youre getting permastunned as a mediocre player. PvP was way better back in wrath even if it felt "unfair" against some classes, simply because spells actually did damage and ppl with higher skilsl could still manage to get around it. But it also made PvP fun for not pre PvP players, as you actually had a chance at getting kills. Also, they should have never separated PvP and PvE gear to this degree. Yes, with high end PvE gear youd be really strong in PvP, but with high end gear from PvP vendors youd also be way stronger than the majority of PvE players. Plus, it did incentivize ppl to play some PvE from time to time to maybe get a specific trinket or so, which puts the worlds more together and also encourages player relationships for PvP.
