I wondered why Alicia and Gee wouldn't value their fingers that much. Then I asked Chat-GPT and found that an unsharpened section between the hilt and the blade is not that uncommon, especially for big, two-handed swords. It's called a ricasso, and it can potentially improve the user's grip on the sword and unlock additional techniques in combat. Thank you, Dragonforce, for teaching me something new. Oh, and the song kicks ass as well.
Lots of metal bands are, it's the best part about all of it. Massively hard-rocking, brutal rhythms and then all of the songs are about knights and dragons and shit, it's amazing. Check out Rhapsody of Fire, for example.

In a time where a lot of artists take themselves way too seriously, it’s so awesome to see Dragonforce still making fun music. Not that they aren’t serious musicians but they seem to genuinely write songs about what they enjoy and keep the energy up.

@@onlyme3it's called The Legend of Zelda, great adventure games that have been going on since the late 80's, I suggest you look into them and if you own any Nintendo consoles or are able to emulate, you give them a shot. I know I'm biased but they're genuinely great games, all of them are worth playing but some that stand out to me are Twilight Princess (my all time favorite game ever), Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, A Link to the Past, Minish Cap, and the two latest ones, Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom

I for sure think it should be in the live action of The Legend of Zelda movie, we know the movie is coming and confirmed, and Nintendo has the utmost money to spare and spend on their treasured IP's, so I wouldn't put it past them to consider using this song, and I'd definitely push for it too, It'd bring such an awesome atmosphere and heroic feeling, plus it's DragonForce, their songs and how they make music is so iconic and cool!

It's like they're telling a story... In one of the many attempts to ressurrect ganondorf in the death hero timeline, one of his followers looked for the master sword in order to perform an unknown and obscure ritual. Just when he found out its whereabouts and head to its location, something unexpected happened. A group of bards offered their help in protecting the sword. The guards allowed it since they were going to need all the help possible. After the battle, the few surviving guards could swear that they saw those bards casting powerfull spells against the evil priest's forces. They even insisted that one of them managed to pull out the master sword and use its power to defeat the priest. From that they, whey wondered if they were just a band of bards or they were something else.
If there's anything that aliens, evil robots, goblins, demons, and other baddies should learn, it's to never underestimate the power of DragonForce 🤘🤘 Love this song!!!!!!

I have to confess it's been a long time since I last listened to Dragonforce as I sorta dropped off when I heard ZP Theart left, so this is legit my first time hearing them again in probably a decade. Man what a nice re-introduction, with an awesome song based on my all time favorite game series!
Check out the Maximum Overload album, you will not regret it if you like the energy of this song. Tomorrow's kings is my favorite in that album hands down, and the Ring of Fire cover is great. I recall some purists being upset but it's more Dragonforce than Johnny cash so I'm fine with it.
I would definitely listen to some of their newer songs, I myself am giving their older songs a listen, honestly from my view, they kept a lot of that energy from the previous vocalist with the new one.
@@crossfire2045 At first I was sad at the vocalist change when it was announced fuckin years ago, but honestly now I prefer Marc's performances over ZP's even when doing old ZP era songs. Honestly, the difference in live performances is crazy. Marc absolutely crushes it on stage!!!!!!!! Highly recommend catching a show whenever they tour near you if you haven't caught them live yet dude. Its a fucking experience bro. Also this is metal, lineup changes happen quite a bit with metal bands and it can honestly be a great way to inject new energy into a band and for the musicians themselves to grow and evolve.
