If ZP didn't smoke and drink, his voice would probably be as epic as it is on the album. I can't imagine why a power metal vocalist would think it's a good idea to smoke considering what it does to the voice.

The drummer is the only person that's sounds identical to the recording but the solo sounds fine to me

Many people complaining about the presentation, that they didn't played it 100% right... Bro, when u are a metal rockstar, there are much more things more important than play YOUR MUSIC like in album record. I probably would be so drunk and happy as they are.

Lots of ripping on D-Force here. Having followed them ever since Valley of the Damned, they surely don't sound like their studio recordings. But no metal band does these days. In the Ultra Beatdown tour, ZP was really sharp and I had more fun at that show than any of their other tours. And Herman and Sam kill the entire songs live. They aren't perfect, but if you've ever tried to play one of their songs, a single one would take out the wrist of most guitar players. The fact that they can do it continuously for nearly 2 hours is superhuman. Dragon force forever.

I miss Wacken 2009 so much and this Era. 00-2010 was something else

I like how people are saying that the performance here was terrible. The thing is, this was during a time period where the old singer was at the end of his time with this band. Plus, because of how high his vocal range was and how much he abused during concerts, he eventually started struggling to hit certain notes within his range. And to try and counteract that, they tuned down the guitars to a lower scale, but that still didn't help. Other than that, it was a good performance.

In both versions of Through The Fire and Flames live, the drummer us the only one who didn't mess up once

People who hate on this band should think twice, dude they don't call them selfs more skilled than any other band, they are just shredding pretty much constantly wich I think is kinda cool, most of the haters probably knows nothing about metal either. These guys are pure power metal, on speed.

Years ago i watched a live version of this song on youtube, Graspop Festival 2006. That was the best live performance ive ever seen of this song, and for years i havnt been able to find it anywhere, as if it got wiped from existence.

still sounds just as fast, even live, and obviously when a song is performed live it is going to sound different but they're still fucking badass

This is definitely my favourite live performance of Through The Fire and Flames. I have to admit, I like ZP Theart way more than Marc Hudson. Both singers are awesome, but ZP is definitely better in my books. :)

Its dec. 2019 and i came back at drunkforce. I missed them. Ahaha. I told myself that i wanna see them live but it seems the original members will never be together again. Thou dragonforce is evolving now.

HAHAHA they used to suck live, but i saw them back in 2013 in Argentina and they were fuckind badasses!

I think Marc is arguably the better singer, but ZP's voice just fits this band so much better.
