It was nice being interviewd and seeing one of my favourite teachers that taught me English in St Joseph's, I was overwhelmed by everything that was happening for Wrexham that day. Seeing the joy and the love for the town a true community that will support each other no matter what.

Great video , I was born in wrexham in 1962 I grew up in the late 60s in the 70s and the 80s and then 85 I had to leave to find work. I went to Germany people would ask me where I was from ,I would say, wrexham, they would say “ where ? seven years passed and I moved to Canada where I have lived for 30 years I never forgot the coal steel and brewing town that I came from, and I always kept an interest in what was going on in the town I want to thank those people that held the clubs head above water for all those years they never gave up , I want to thank Rob and Ryan for seeing the potential and the Declan swans for the new town anthem. Oh and of course the guys that resurrected Wrexham Lager a bottle of which I carried to the top of a 10,000 foot mountain in the Canadian Rockies on my 60th birthday when people hear my accent in Canada they always ask me where I’m from and now when I say Wrexham they now know exactly where I’m from. Thank you everyone.

What made this title so special is that it is the event that finally closes the door on the period where real estate speculators dragged Wrexham to the brink. The outpouring of noise and celebration is a resounding boom of a great door closing on that ere. Everything now is a new chapter. Any celebrations will feel great, but won't have that extra poignancy.

Excellent video as ever; your history of the town, what previously defined us but subsequently lost and never quite replaced, leaving us only our football club to provide us with a sense of identity was spot on. I remember growing up when Wrexham was a vibrant market town and over the years seeing it decline. Over the past decade or so the same happened to our football club. It is almost pre-destined that the change in the fortunes of Wrexham AFC also breathes new life into the town. We have pride, a sense of community and vibrancy. Dare I say the dragon is rising and there's fire in the heart of Wrexham again #feelingemotional ❤

Where's Geraint Parry (31:53)?....knowing him, the stalwart is probably driving one of the buses!!! Geraint is integral to WAFC and has been for a number of years - a humble, approachable and knowledgeable man who has lived and breathed Wrexham all his life and in my opinion become the modern day Ted Robinson that has done it all for the club he cares for profusely.

Mark - you need to come to the US and commentate the games. If you want to be a big-time club then you have to go all the way. Plus imagine all the human interest stuff you could do in between games including talking to local fans. You will be a sought after guest on morning radio in LA and Charlotte. Plus ESPN, The Rich Eisen Show, The Dan Patrick Show, In Soccer We Trust, CBS Sports new Soccer Channel etc. I will be very disappointed if the voice of Wrexham AFC is not in the US with the team.

well, no music, no band, no dancers, it doesn't look like a parade. and there are no giveaways? it looks sad. blowing horn all the way through must have been so irritating.

Mark, why aren't you asking the question to people "where are you spending your money?". 40,000 est but you walk through town on a Sat afternoon and the town is dead. Why aren't these "fans" spending their money in the Town centre? It's all good and well all the "fans" buying shirts etc but the town is still suffering from the lack of footfall. What's the point of a popular football club when every shop has to close due to no people buying anything there. They're all spending their money in Chester or Broughton. To me they aren't fans. Edit. The person who was in a Phillies shirt has never followed Wrexham in his life, 90 of the people there haven't.
