The only reason to do this is to get free publicity with zero chance of ever having to give away any equity in the company. It's essentially just a play to get free publicity. Hey, it seems to work though because these people get on the show even after a screening.
She wanted to increase exposure to her product that's why she came with such a high valuation.. If a dragon had invested, that would be a bonus but to get x amount of people watching this show and trying her app is free advertising.
Exactly right. I notice that all (yes, all!!) the highly over-valued companies in the den are the type of companies that require high numbers of regular Joe Soap consumers or website members to gain traction. In other words they go on the den, not to gain an investor, but to gain tv exposure (customers/viewers).
@@karlossantana2306 - at least I don't need a £100 000 app to tell me which T-shirt to wear🤔 PS: All my T-shirts were chosen with purpose, so it really doesn't matter which one I wear on which day. Think of me as a poor Steve Jobs😂😂😂
This pink pijama lady deserved at least a beauty scholarship. Two dragons later expressed their desires to give her jobs, but they sounded more like they'd like to get certain jobs from her.
I have extreme body dysmorphia and occasionally I’ll feel totally ready but when I go to step out the door something stops me and I’ll spend the next hour in tears frantically trying to find something else to wear that makes me more comfortable. Basically anxiety is a bitch and I can totally see how deciding on clothing can cause panic.
@@kennethwjjones I suppose you aren’t the target audience, and by having a narrow mindset, you’re not attempting to see the potential in the idea. I’m a guy of 21 years, can’t say I’d ever use it or find it useful, but having sisters, girlfriends and female friends, I can certainly see why they’d want to. Rationalising a problem in your own mind doesn’t mean it’s not a problem for other people. Come on buddy, it’s okay to try 😂
It's a nonsense idea. If you have so much wardrobe that creating an outfit gets problematic then actually maintaining a digital copy of your collection is entirely unfeasible. You must also take every picture in the exact same lighting and at perfect angles - and it's still going to deviate from the look & feel of the actual physical thing. The solution to this problem is getting better and more efficient and picking up your outfit, not creating more work out of it. ...oh and she's gonna sell your personal data to the retailers. Awesome.
Not your personal data, your personal combinations. This slice of important data can easily be passed onto retailers without need to divulge the identity of the customer. Let's not distort what she said.
Wear your nightgown to a pitch is for sure environmentally friendly. She goes to bed in her pink nightgown and then goes tona pitch wearing the same. Less washing, less power, less waste. Everyone should start wearing what they go to bed in to work. 😳
She has a very privileged demeanour, which is probably why she feels that investing £70,000 and coming in with such a ridiculous valuation was going to be accepted.
This comment is hilarious. Don't know why everyone's so judgy though. Sure she seems a little high up there but man I wouldn't conclude so quickly, it may be something else.
I have no fashion sense, I have t shirts that are over 20 years old and haven't bought any new clothes apart from socks n knickers for .... a few years now. This app is not for me.
@@altustalent410 we also call them pants and in the US this means trousers 🤣 Here in the UK we call Knickers usually woman underwear and pants are mens
@@KarrierBag I'm aware, it's possible I like the term because of it's pairing with the British accent as well. Don't know why I enjoy this accent so much and the various terms Brits use.
Urgh, I'm getting really sick of these ex bankers using their ridiculous salaries to start an online business. I'm mean really, an app that helps you get dressed?? Is this real?
