When will they learn that if they put a silly valuation on the business they wont get a deal, is it that they dont understand the figures properly or are they just greedy.
Selling your house to invest in your business doesn't show dedication, it shows recklessness, negligence and is a major red flag 'cause you need to be able to sustain yourself with what you have first before you can sustain any business. The business should be important but not to the detriment of your home. It's just not a smart business move despite movies portraying it as a great story or some sign of dedication. Great business people take risks but smartly calculated ones, not stupid risks. Sometimes you get lucky and it works out but to me it just gives gambler addict vibes.
