In my collaboration video I create three dragons based on an HBO series. To say this one was difficult is an understatement, but it was a labor of love as I've wanted to create these three for a long time. This video is actually an introduction to my dragon series of videos to celebrate 2024 as the
Year of the Dragon.
I bought the molds on Amazon. You'll see me using mica powders as well as polyurethane resin. The resin proved to be a problem, but it was the only dark polyurethane I had. I will not be using resin from Specialty resin any longer. Instead of staying black, it turned an ugly grey color. The first bottles I bought worked like a dream and I said so in previous videos. I got a bad batch this
time and have not heard back from the company, so they are losing my business. I don't have the money to waste on faulty products. I saved my project by having to paint parts of them, but I think they came out well.
