You missed the Legends trilogy that explains what happens to Raistlin and Caramon after the War of the Lance. It’s legitimately better than Chronicles and was written right after Ok you mentioned them. Never mind
The original Dragonlance series (Chronicles) is so dear to me! I have such fond memories of these characters, reading these books in high school. I caught your channel just by chance seeing a Dragonlance review. Thank you Brian, for bringing back such great memories and reminding others how much of an impact these books had in the day. I’m new to your channel and I will back track to your other Dragonlance reviews. One more thing…you mentioned, that no one told you about Summerflame, have you read Soulforge by Margaret Weis?
Brian. Seriously you should pick up The Soulforge and Brothers in Arms. You asked us why we didn't tell you Summer Flame was good.. well I'm here to tell you now so you know, you really need to read those. Also, there's a new Dragonlance trilogy coming out in 2022 with the original characters.
soulforge is my favorite book of all time. and I've read more than 1000 novels in all my 41 years. But Raistlin is also my favorite character and probably the first.
thanks for the review great book. I love these books very good read. Hope your week so far is going well. keep up your great work. can't wait till the next reviews. Happy reading
@BRIAN LEE DURFEE, Thanks for this review. I've read the original trilogy, and I have Dragons of Summer Flame, but I've been putting off reading it because I couldn't see how the authors could possibly top their original trilogy. I'm encouraged to see that it's a solid sequel.
You should read the Lost Chronicles trilogy it fills in the missing events from the original Chronicles, and IMO should have been part of the original trilogy. Tells a much fuller story IMO
