I kinda like the idea of of him being THE green ninja that was destined to beat the Dark Lord. But that doesn't mean that there weren't other Energy masters that weren't necessarily THE green ninja, just an energy ninja with perhaps a different color. Maybe those previous masters had something happen to them that made energy pass differently than other elemntal powers.

Lloyd is part oni and dragon so he may be able to live for thousands of years like Wu and Garmadon so Arin will die long before Lloyd passes his elemental power of energy down to his chosen succesor but if Arin was alive when he passed his power he would most likely pass it to Arin or maybe one of his future children and I would love to see either one of these scenarios even if it's a dark topic to talk about the ninja dying I would still like to see them go on their own paths if ninjago continiues at some point in time. By this I mean I would like to see the ninja train their own students soon and see the end of their life and the begining of the new generation of ninja or I would also like to see the series explore more about the Oni side of Lloyd, Garmadon and Wu. I also would like to see Lloyd regain his golden power over time and see him learn more about his Oni side and the powers he has and it would be amazing if we saw the Oni powers displayed more. Garmadon said that there are two sides so there must be a source Oni and that would be an amazing plot to see an oposite of the source dragons and see what Lloyd would do. We also definately need a statis update on Wu in Ninjago Dragons Rising season 2 part 2.

Lloyd's elemental power is one part of that quite messy power system (along with the powers of Creation, Destruction, the GoldenPower, Darkness and the 4 elements of creation) Ninjago has carried since the very first seasons, and with each addition it just got more and more tangled. Not only the origins and history of these powers is mostly blank, but sometimes their very nature and relations to each other seems either like an indifferent enigma, or requires a whole maze of thoughts to connect one thing to another. And other times it's just "concluded" with with a statement "Too hard to explain"... So yes, if they're planning explanations, I'm supporting it!

I think it would make more sense for his elemental power to be life because when Lloyd called out for the source dragons and a dragon asked who does this mortal belong to the life source dragon said it belongs to him, which I was confused because it shouldve been energy

I always reasoned that's Lloyd's Energy power was a weaker version of Creation. If you think about it, Lloyd started with Energy before it grew and evolved to Golden(Creation) Power before going back down to energy after he gave the others their elemental powers back. Wu is theorized to have had the Element of Creation from his father which was gold I color. We see this in his elemental dragon and in his Spinjitzu. Perhaps the reason we really never saw Wu use his power was because it was passed to Lloyd.

I see it as Lloyd is the elemental master of energy but because he was the Chosen One Prophecised to defeat the Overlord and is related to the First Spinjitsu Master who was part Oni and Part Dragon, things are different for him. I think because he is biologically related to Oni and Dragon, his mastery and reason for being the elemental master of energy is different. If he were to pass on his pkwers to someone else like Arin, they'd get energy but it won't be the same as Lloyd's. Thats also why he is physically the perfect conduit for Source Dragon energy.

I've always presumed that Lloyd's power is a/the combination of the four main elements' elemental energies, rather than those elements in their entireties, which would get you Creation.

I was just thinking about this today. Like, they are most likely to announce every participant before every match. For example: Nya, master of water, vs Tox, master of poison. So, there are huge chances we're finding out what is Lloyd's elemental power, but also Zeatrix and Nockt's powers if they get to join in the tournament. My wild guess: Lloyd's elemental power is actually "chi". Like the vital energy inside all life beings, mainly because it would be an element of life (which is said to be able to both create and destroy life). Also, the reason of why it was so complicated to name his power could be that chi was not an actual thing in Ninjago before the Merge and Chima merging with all the realms

The few times it was called energy was in the Tournament of Elements, while Chen also called him the master of power and even green (I'm not 100% sure about that last one). So, yeah, kinda complicated because when Cole was asked what were Lloyd's power he didn't say just energy, he talked about how this green light was like all their powers combined

I saw a Reddit post saying that energy is a powered down of golden power And since we know that energy is a combination of the four elements of creation, Ice, lightning, earth and fire It would mean that: Ice+ lightning+ earth+ fire= energy BUT when the ninja sent their powers to Lloyd, it was, Ice + lightning + earth + fire + energy = golden power The four elements of creation plus energy would equal golden power, and it would make sense considering that creation and energy are closely related which is said in Ninjago wiki

Wu or garmadon didn’t have energy , his powers were heavy linked to the prohecy and Source Dragon of Life claimed him and said he is descended from the first so I’m not sure what doc Wyatt means …? So only other energy master would be FSM and energy just passing on like any normal element is weird seeing how Lloyd even got it ? This is kinda doesn’t line up to old show lore

I feel like the power of Energy should be special and specific to Lloyd. In season 2 it is revealed that Lloyd has the powers of the first spinjitzu master and in "Seabound" it is revealed that the First spinjitzu master had all of the powers of creation except water and wind which means if Lloyds golden power does ever return he will be more powerful than the first spinjitzu master. The first spinjitzu master separated his Oni form so he wouldn't have the powers of destruction therefore making Lloyd the stronger in terms of elemental power. I think it would be interesting if Lloyd could travel freely between realms since he is part dragon. I also find it funny that the First spinjitzu masters attempt to split his Oni form from himself resulted in the Overlords creation.

Ask me the fact that Lloyd’s element essences can find a new host makes no since because in season 8 garmadon was dead but his element never felt and he still have it even when Lloyd uncovered his, and remember the FSM dragon in endings look in green and gold and you will find out that was the golden dragon so the FSM still has his golden power. So after all that information I made the conclusion that elemental essences do not move on when they die or have children but now Docs saying that the element of energy will find a new host feels kind of stupid and a way to give us a story in the later seasons. So it’s either that they still don’t have Lloyd’s power figured out or this is the same man that said the never realm had a time difference.

I normally wouldn't speak up but like, yall know the episode where we meet the source dragons and such? And the whole who claims this boy and all that? Yeah, well according to the Netflix subtitles, the source dragon who asked was the sources dragon of Energy, and the one that 'claimed' Lloyd is the Source dragon of life, so Idk if its just netflix subtitles but like, wdyt of this?? That isn't a mistake. When it comes to the source dragons they each hold a specific batch of elemental powers so when the source dragon of life says she claims Lloyd she is referring to Lloyd's elemental power as one batch of elemental powers under her and the same for the other source for example the elements under the source dragon of motion would be fire, heat, smoke, speed etc.

Name energy was an easy way to describe Lloyd's power and what I mean by that is there really isn't a confirmation of the true name of Lloyd’s element since it's an elemental essence of the remaining fragments of the elements of creation and the energy just became easy to describe at the time and that's in the past season when they mentioned Lloyd’s powers Chen called Lloyd master of power instead a master of energy and why when Cole was asked of what kind power the green ninja had he basically he has no real clue and that basically its combination of the elements of creation. And the reason its not the energy source dragon is because the his elements batch are looking lightening and other around that base on the design of their symbol and their name

It would be cool if the forbidden five were all owners of the energy power at the same moment but when they got banished the power passed on to Lloyd as the only owner of the element. Maybe the forbidden five would want their power back, so it could lead to a personal fight between Lloyd and the forbidden five... And when Lloyd doesn't see a solution he could want to give a part of his power to Arin like he did with the other ninja.

That makes no sense since energy itself is an elemental essence that was created from the remaining parts of the elements of creation inside of Lloyd and there are only two known users which are Lloyd and the FSM. Also, there can’t be a master of the same element at the same time as proven time and again throughout the show and the forbidden five aren't from Ninjago since when their story was explained that they conquered their realm and elemental powers can’t travel between realms
