this is definitely your best dm list so far sam, glad to see your improvement! no suggestions for improving the deck this time around. the only things id be able to really suggest changing would more-so just be changing the decks identity and the lines of play slightly rather than being just flat out improvements (like ratio fixes n whatnot).
Hey just wanted to say as someone who picked back up yugioh through master duel recently and following you through seereax this decklist inspired me to actually go to tcgplayer and build this deck so i can play at my locals since DM was what made me want to get back into yugioh in the first place. Excited to go from just Master Duel to TCG, thank you for helping out new and returning players like me get into this game again. P.S I bought some XYZ sleeves, cant wait to show them off at my first game
magician's souls has one more effect, {special summon 1 "dark magician" or 1 dark magician girl"} also the eye of timaeus can also bring that fusion too

Hot take with this build but Return of the Red Eyes rather than E soul.. Still summons back DM as long as you control Dragoon but can also recycle the red eyes for 2nd REF play, gives you something to search from insight if you already have REF and if it's popped you can reborn a Dragoon potentially instead of it nuking your field.
It stops you from special summoning non fusions that turn, it also loses too more than just ash, branded fusion loses to ash, and imperm, veiler, belle on the fusion monster effect
Probably the best DM profile you've ever put out Sam. You trimmed as much fat as possible, and focused on playing crazy strong power spells like REF and Insight. Naysayers and pure players might hate seeing one Rod, and a big Red-Eyes engine, but you can easily search the one Rod, and it doesn't make any sense using Souls, Rod, and Timaeus to go for Dragoon when those lines of play open you up for all kinds of interruptions. Just slap down the REF, and drop a full power Goons. That simple.
the hand you had at 20:51, was good. activate illusion to see if there is ash, if not trade for the card you wanted. if there was a ash then play red-eyes fusion send Dm and red-eyes to make Dragoon then you have 2 negates.
Just found this video and LOVE the build idea. I'm working on a version close to this, but REF doesn't allow any normal or special summoning once used in the same turn. Half the plays are not able to be completed :(
Ya... The only time I play 3 dark magicians is in the fun deck where I bring out 3 dragoons with fusion gate. This one guy MatchieYGO had a deck profile that's good against Kashtiras with some branded cards plus winda and akpollone, he plays it with just 1 dark magician and one dark magician girl to make more use of soul servant but can still bring out 2 dragoons no problem; I'd say the only downside is if it's banished before you have the ability to cycle it back set up.
Rather have an engine that gets you into dragoon along with your combo. You can play quem with ecclesia, and ecclesia can get you iris swordsoul wich you can tribute with duality for a dragoon if you happen to draw it. Maybe a small runick engine is also good.

Since 2 Normal monsters were used to summon Dragoon, you can pop twice. TL;DR: Just like, read the card man.
It fine deck i would back dragoon up with Nadir pack and some flootgates give it more then just Dragoon skip and for ED would recommend Chaos Angel BLS and Avramax instead of DMG you could use Mahad its same as a DMG but if draw into it or with servent effect its a free body onboard for bigger link plays or a chaos angel.
There was a Time that i was facinated about the Rarity's in Sams Dark Magician Decks. But now i am the One with the most expensive Dark Magician Profile on RU-vid 😊 (Or maybe even in the World) It is sad that Dark Magician is reduced to Dragoon Turbo or Branded Dragoon Turbo. Feels not like Dark Magician really.
You can also still activate circle under droll n lock bird since you don’t have to add since it’s a you can effect and magician souls under red-eyes fusion since it’s an option to summon which also states you can I use to do this when people would barrier statue me just to get the draw 2 or even stack the next card with circle without adding under droll
This is Awsome quick question I'm running a dark magician deck the only problem I'm having issues with is new fire deck that attacks like six times in a row and the deck where the most of the monsters have zero ATT and DEF, and when they attack they hit you with our own damage how do you play those decks because I seem to aways get them and I can't move past gold level one need help please if I could post my deck here if I could please get help ill appreciate
After play testing loza’s build, I feel like secret village and nadir/schism is irreplaceable. It adds the extra layer of protection the deck desperately needs. “Dragoon, pass” just doesn’t do it anymore. Dragoon, winda, secret village is a scoop to game 2 in most cases. No super poly, no droplet, no TTT, no spamming monsters on the field to make bigger monsters to run over dragoon.
@@adamprinceofeternia7509 Activate nadir servant, send shaddoll apkallone from extra deck to gy, add dogmatika ecclesia/fleurdelis Apkalone effect triggers in gy. Add a schism from deck to hand (you’ll need at least 1 card to discard if you want to resolve apkallone effect). On their turn during main phase, you can activate schism summoning Shaddoll winda. You’re gonna need a dark monster on field or in grave to fuse with apkallone and make winda. The auto win is REF, nadir servant, and secret village. You’ll have a dragoon, a winda on their turn, and they can’t activate spells unless they control a spellcaster. That board requires a VERY specific hand to play through. Most decks can’t, and on top of that, can’t out the dragoon.
@@adamprinceofeternia7509 I think my comment got deleted so I’ll write again: Activate REF FIRST before Nadir, or else you’ll get locked from extra deck. Summon dragoon. Activate Nadir, add a dogmatika monster, dump apkallone, effect of apkallone: discard a card, add shaddoll schism. If you have a terraforming, add secret village or if you have it in hand, just play it. Set schism. On their turn, activate schism in main phase, summoning winda. They’re stuck to 1 special summon a turn, no spells can be activated unless they control a spellcaster, and they have to deal with our lord and savior, dragoon. Both winda and dragoon also can’t be destroyed by card effects.
i don't understand why you don't special dark magician off of magician's soul? especially if you play salvation first, then you special both? are they really worth more in the graveyard for soul servant draw power than they are for another ~5000 damage?

Oh great, now I may have to deal with this fusion monster returning. That new Blue-Eyes fusion can't arrive soon enough to Master Duel. I know it is not unban there but this means that it is not off the table to return.
I play a more redeyesfokused deck and play eheros Prisma and blazeman and magicloaded fusion and busterblader once for Dark Paladin for more extra negates
please make another master duel profile with Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon i promise the big guy is slept on and is a great otk deck got to platinum 1 working on diamond. unaffected by monster effects can attack 3 times and can gain up to 12500 attack easy please please please check it out fyi: theres been times i had to go first get him out and people quiit because they cant do anything about him
The Gaia/DM fusion is an Option in certain situations… Better to have it and not need it than need it and Loose. I’ve owned one for 9 months and only used it once… super poly target.
good deck and i love DM and dragoon but sadly unless they decide to bring some new good support there is no way for DM to be competitive nowdays even when having such a busted card as Dragoon
Crossout is at x3 in TCG is nuts and dragoon is at x3, if that card is unbaned branded will be the one abuse it with their ability search fusion card easy
@baronkaito7045 they're coming in the next rarity collection in May. so they'll also be printed in super rare at probably like 1.00 per card. you only have to get the QCRs if you wanna pimp your deck out lol.
Ladies and gens am I the only one that sees a illegal play when you activate red eyes fusion your not allowed to spacial summon and normal summer for the rest of the turn but he activate souls to spacial summon dark migician ???
yep you're locked for the rest of the turn. REF - "Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster as Material from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand, Deck, or field as Fusion Materials, and if you do, its name becomes "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Red-Eyes Fusion" per turn."
ive been testing this deck and it sucks that theres only one normal red-eyes. I cant summon the second one, is there something im missing? how do i get my red eyes out of the graveyard?
This deck looks pretty good, but according to ur draws, 50% to get Dragoon and his 1 negate or game’s over is quite underwhelming. Having said that, live ur videos. Hope u’ll do more deck profiles than in Master Duel. And hope ur website store will have Cdn$ option for ur merchandise.
this is true, but as a dm player we just lose to droll regardless outside of just playing red eyes fusion, so if your opp has droll and you dont have red eyes fusion or crossout, you instantly lose if that upstart doesnt grab ref off the top anyway, so you might aswell just run the upstarts since they have synergy with the deck aswell (you can chain soul servant to upstart to draw any dm related card in your deck, and you can play upstart after playing circle and changing the top 3 cards of your deck, which can also grab you red eyes fusion, and in that case the droll doesnt matter
Dark magician takes too much to end on a fusion monster regardless if being dragoon or the other options. Needing to search for all the pieces ends up wasting almost all your resources There needs to be a way to consistently have a fusion summon for this deck to have any hope

TY-Phon, Baronne (Ash + DM), Savage Dragon (Veiler + DM) or Apo are all good picks. Savave Dragon is really neat in this build since there are so many links
Dark ruler no more Goodbye dragoon, forbidden droplet Goodbye dragoon, super poly goodbye dragoon, ash blossom good bye red eyes fusión, dragoon is a complement only, there is not the base of the deck. DM is a deck control you must use skill drain, secret Village and other control cards and sometimes summon dragoon
