@@Ky-chanRose you can't just glue a bunch of candy to some black boots and call it a look tbh. There was a way she could have done it that was a stylized form like using only gummy worms and aligning them so they fit together like a puzzle piece or using peppermints all along the heel and edges. I say this as someone who was excited to see Erika so far she has not elevated her drag since her season and it's disappointing because the vision is truly there if she knew how to execute it. Like I wanna see more from Erika than big anime hair with a bunch of random pins and wild face paint that both don't match the theme of her dress ( a random print )
@@szymon200000 which is jarring considering the deliberation between them, they arguably showed better performance footage for koco and Kendra than what was shown in the floor show.
Evah killed this... however the editing and lighting really did a disservice.. I thought I hated Koco's look and then at judging, upon closer inspection, I really liked it.

Koco was mess. Why would you pick the same scheme and color from last week? Same tired half duck walk half catwalk vogue stunt. Koco has been the biggest disappointment imo so far
Dragula STAYS bringing the floor show background music, I swear. 4:45 on is giving circuit party/underground invite-only warehouse bops and we need more.
I don’t mind the song choice! It nice to have something campy, fun and different for a change that isn’t a cinematography masterpiece of horror music for the background, this episode was disappointing though. Bless Evah for her deserved win! And the ghoul they chose to send home made me sad :(
@@alastairty8755 Nearly no close full body shot, half of it was a lot of fast cuts during the lipsyncs where you could barely tell what was going on, Astrud only had one quick close-up of her face, the decision to just awkwardly stick the name cards at the end with little fanfare was so weird...
I think it's a problem created from trying to do a lip-sync challenge with so many performers, and trying to squeeze in all of the contestants within the time limit created by the song choice
Having such a love of this song, I loved this floor show. It was Hysterical that they did a song about shoes and the majority of the Cast somehow lost that message with their..Shoes. I was crying laughing😂😭👍
I love Koko in and out of drag, but her looks haven't been hitting the mark or meeting the assignments and no one is reading her for it. Definitely in the bottom 3 for the first two weeks.
i honestly thought abhora had the best look of the night, just my opinion though. the bald curse worked in her favor edit: this might be a controversial opinion but i am sorta over Hoso’s looks. like don’t get me wrong she is a brilliant artist and they are all very well crafted, but it’s just like always the same silhouettes and face makeup and prosthetics. i wish she would give us stuff like her demon from season 4 or her glamour look…
not feeling the floorshow, this stage is too tiny compared to the season 4 one and i feel like they won't be able to shoot it properly and take amazing shots like they did. also the screen on the back was way bigger and now it's smaller it looks cheap ☠️ hope that it gets better
I’m glad they don’t have to lip sync against each other cause Kendra would be sending bitches home left and right (cause she rightfully would be in the bottom a lot- no shade.) Abhora’s makeup skills are beautiful, Astrid turnt it the f*ck out, Hoso never ceases to fail, I’m not sure the story behind Koko’s outfit but it does not read Witch, but I love she did something different from her norm! Victoria mixing her references was everything IYKYK
Hosa was awesome this week. Haven't been too impressed up to this point, but she did a great job this week. Koco really needs to step up her game, minimal work put in compared to the others.
I feel bad for Yovska. I LOVE their drag and I think their costumes are amazing and unique, but their performance on stage is often underwhelming. I think their shoes were fantastic, though.
So I don’t need y’all coming for me, but when I first saw Dragula, I thought the floor performances were tacky and boring. Tacky because to me, it was supposed to show the tenets of Dragula and failed often. Stunts went wrong, the camera work wouldn’t let you focus on what the girls were bringing. I’ve come to like it now but i was a journey. I feel like it was also because I watched drag race first, so that influenced how I viewed the runway. I’m 100% sure that if Dragula had been out first on tv, I would have felt the same way about the drag race runway. I’ve probably would have said the runway on drag race was boring and lacked creativity lol until they brought the stunts like “ruveals” and more than just a cocktail dress.
On Reddit there is a pic of the hat and it’s (to me pretty worthy of praise) so I can see why they saved Koco besides the dancing. I just have such a soft spot for Yovskas art though, I want them for at least one more week.
@@iaintookthatbb6599 personally i don't care. it is not unusual for this kind of shows to "spare" a contestant on the first episode. I do believe they should have made the decision a priori though regardless of who loses, not just make an "exception" because it's Abhora.

Uh yes! I need Erika (and Yovska) to be taken under the wing of a queen like VEB or Evah. I’m so into the fantasy of a Pixal yokai or nightmare cryptid but so often they miss the mark and just need a bit more polish and possibly a dressmaker. They both frustrate me so much, I was really hoping for a mega glow up since season2 and 3.
Not a fan of the editing as well, I think it was just too many people for a performance challenge. Maybe if they held off for another couple weeks and had fewer contestants they could have focused more. And I gagged once I realized it was "Shoes"...brought me back to seventh grade watching it on my friend's computer with her parents in the next room over.
Dracmorda to Violencia!, Season 3: Comedy DOES have a place in Dragula. .... and here we are. 😆 I wish I could have seen the competitors' reactions once they found out which song they were doing. 😆
Again, Koco and Kendra completely missed the mark with their outfits... Okay they are good TV, but c'mon... 2 mess in a row... Yovska has given something last week, and this week, the concept was cool.
Is there less budget this time around? The stage looks smaller, the editing is worse than season 4 and they're not doing the murder skits anymore (and at least this episode, they didn't even do one with tbe Boulets at the beginning).
It's pretty ridiculous that Kendra didn't go home this episode. Just look at Yovska's look and SHOES (which is the challenge) compared to Kendra's. Kendra didn't try at all but they like her better as a dancer so she stays? Dumb
Evah and Abhora destroyed it, Evah's look and presentation was so well thought out. Koko and Kendra should have been in the bottom without a doubt, Koko's noguing and crunchy dancing, Kendra pumping the stage and trying to be a sexy showgirl to a campy song was so painful to watch. They had no emotion on their faces and like I wish they want for a comedic route, they did not get the vibe of the song at all tbh.
Evah was good, I liked Yovska's Face, Erika's shoes were cute, Hoso looked cool - I dont even know how she constructs those outfits - that being said it is kind of repetitive. Melissa was horrible. Astrud was pretty good. Victoria...I expected more from. I love Koco and Kendra but they did not give. Abhora was also among the better but she seemed stronger during S2. Gotta say Titans did not convince me yet.

Kendra is a witch doctor, your right though it could have definitely used more vision especially because she did the same for resurrection and that was a clearer interpretation. I’m gonna miss Yovska, her brand of drag is so unique and something I just can’t get enough of.
Second lip Sync and ITS only episode 2 huh, and that song was Just a mistake, Abhora shouldnt be there, all of the looks were weaker than Season 1 witch floorshow and ressurrection. Also the episodes are too fucking long. Unfortunately i think the show has changed priorities. They clearly are doing anything for cheap drama and stunts.
