Dragunity Theorycrafting: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Problems

Dragunity is a fun archetype, with a lot of potential. My problem when theory crafting a suite or package is that I keep adding cards till I get an engine, or even a full Dragunity core. Somebody help me!
Context note. this video was delayed by an entire year.
On another note, soft reboot of Homebrew, opening up a new avenue for theory crafting videos smaller than a complete deck profiles.

My thought on Dragon's Ravine is that the card functions best as a jumpstart for an engine, and therefore shouldn't be considered as part of anything, but judged on it's own individual merits. Ironically, it's the perfect card to build engines around.

I remember one of World Championship 2011's last downloadable duelists was a Dragunity Duelists that consistently annihilated me with Dragon Ravine.

I have been watching your videos pretty regularly, but I haven't actually played the game since 2014. Dragunity was one of my all time favorite decks. I'd love to see more about them from you. Especially since there seem to have been so many new dragunity cards.

Need to dig into more modern dragon decks. I haven’t played one since that structure deck that released alongside the zombie one in like 2005 haha.

Modern Dragons have so many options, it's disgusting. Bystial Dragon Link being one of the more prominent versions to pop-up recently.

I love Dragunity and I absolutely agree about feeling like 40 cards just isn't enough. Even fully committing to a pure build in Master Duel, I struggle to fit everything I want from the acrhetype while leaving room for the (unfortunately) mandatory Maxx "C", Ash and Called by. So much fun potential with this deck!

I also have this problem but i learned when to stop cooking Also side note: there is a link 2 called romulus that can add the ravine or any dragunity spell/trap Which means you can either cook further or completely ignore the package

Bystials are good in this deck. Definitely can’t do 40 at the lowest 45.

next time can you show some dule when talking about a strategy or theory crafting just talk about is not as good as trying to make it work and see if it work to

It's really tricky. People play the game for different reasons, and in different ways. Tying in gameplay comes with the requirement of getting footage, and that generally means playing against the metagame with a unique, but suboptimal deck. There could be some mock-ups for combos, especially in Blender, but that is slightly beyond my ability at the moment. I wish I could.
