So it's just basically creating a pressurized seal allowing all the water pressure from the hose to only go forward, correct? The shape and material lets it adapt to the opening and the depth creates the counterbalancing pressure?
Seen this video went to Lowe’s to buy it.. have a recurring clog in my main sewer line that happens randomly. This cleared it in 2 minutes.. did the same thing a plumber charged me 150 for a few months prior.
You had a bath tub full of water upstairs but yet you seemed surprised that there was a lot of water coming out of the clean out. Lol. The whole time you were unscrewing that plug I was waiting for the inevitable.
UPDATE - MY LANDLORD FINALLY HAD THE PROBLEM RESOLVED - WHEN PLUMBERS REPLACED THE PIPES, THEY SAW TREE ROOTS CLOGGING IT FOR MANY FEET ----- BUT FOR MANY YEARS, ALMOST ONCE A MONTH - DOING THIS DRAIN CLEANING BLADDER DID INDEED ALLOW ME TO USE THE PIPES... IT DID NOT HURT ANYTHING - DESPITE WHAT SOMEONE COMMENTED THAT IT MIGHT
Thanks.. just getting my nerves up to do this on some plumbing someone screwed up years ago on my house. Not looking forward to 5 years of poop sludge... but for what it's wort, at least it's my own.. is that weird? =\
Thanks Thom…. Very Helpful!! How do you determine what diameter you need for the outside sewer line clean out? They sell some different sizes. Thanks!! Great job
