A dark energy emanates from an unknown source, and the Dragon King who watches over and protects the nearby lands has fallen into a deep, unwaking sleep. Without their protection, the darkness spreads, driving wildlife and even the inhabitants of the lands to behave strangely, violently, or disappearing altogether.
The only thing keeping the dark forces at bay are the Dreamstones, at least for now. There's no telling if or when even they may be overcome.
As a new arrival to these lands, you are not well equipped or prepared. However, curiously, the Dragon King knows of you, and has had the guards place their trust in your hands, to set off to find out who or what is causing this, and hopefully put a stop to it before all is lost in the wake of this nightmare!
Explore the world as best you can with the abilities you have at the time, to find dungeons, defeat cursed beasts, and find treasures that will aid in furthering your journey to free the lands of the curse!
