What a tactless interview. Drake handled these bs questions with grace. The news reporter introducing this bit implied the interview would be about his music. That is not what the interview was about. Absolute crass. Bad journalism. Do better.
This is disgusting. He's a predator too and even worse a CHILD predator and yet people are ignoring that and treating him like he's some wronged saint. I mean seriously interviews? 🙄 Sure we can acknowledge the horrible things he endured when he was a child but what you go through doesn't excuse your actions 🤷🏻♀️ I grew up in an abusive home, was in an abusive relationship for 8 years, was raped, sexually taken advantage of by someone I thought was a "friend", abused drugs for years, and have dealt with mental health issues for well over half of my entire life but that doesn't give me the right to do whatever I want whenever I want without consequences. This and others like it who are ignoring what he did and making him out to be a "great guy" should be ashamed of themselves.
This accusation continues to circulate, but the rumors that circulate do not make it real. At the moment, the only occasion in which the accusation has been explored in depth has shown that he is not a se*ual predator of minors and that who accused him lied, a circumstance confirmed by the analyzes of the technicians and by witnesses close to the girl. At present it is a slander.
All that while there’s the possibility that he didn’t know her age. Also no one is saying that he’s a perfect neither he’s saying that. The victim on his case has also some questionable claims first her saying that they exchanged explicit pictures if this was true he would have been charged with cp considering the police conducted 18 months investigation and they used digital forensic. There was an article after the investigation where they asked the police about what they had and the police only mentioned the texts message they would have mentioned the pictures if it was there because sending or receiving explicit pictures from a minor is very inappropriate and illegal. Also her bringing up the SA allegations in her impact statement but not during the investigation is very bad choice, if she’s gonna let the world know what Drake did to her as she claimed then why didn’t she tell that important informations to the police when they were investigating? She claimed that she met him at a nightclub in Ohio I don’t know if what she claimed was true or not but minors aren’t allowed to enter nightclubs. So if she lied about these stuff it makes me wonder what else did she lie about and I don’t think victims would feel the need to lie about stuff like this in this way.
Nobody is saying he's perfect. Many in his circle have spoken to him seriously about his actions. He has been getting help with processing everything in his life. He knows he's done wrong and he is trying to be better.
He was proven innocent.. he only pleaded guilty for child endangerment because the girl showed up to his gigs under a false identity.. she lied about her age and stalked his ex wife on social media and the minute he found out she wasn’t who she says she was he stopped all communication with her.. bare in mind they only met once at a meet and greet long before the texts.. the judge confirmed all of this in court if you even bothered to watch the case..
