I follow the Twitter account Fans For Drake Bell & the owner of this account has provided the statement of the victim's (former) best friend who had traveled to the the concerts with her & her aunt, as well as a video of Drake's wife, Janet who explains the many encounters she had with the victim. This is a statement that they just released about what really happened: "Drake Bell was accused by a former fan of sending her "inappropriate messages" when she was a minor. She filed a complaint with the Ohio police & Drake was investigated for 2 years. Electronic devices were siezed & the Instagram/Facebook message file was requested. During the investigation, they realized that Drake cut off communication with the girl when he found out her age. THEY NEVER FOUND INTIMATE IMAGES. There was also no sexual record in these messages. Drake is one of the few artists who really takes the time to respond to networks, open DMs & share. In her case, this ex-fan (& her family) wanted to take advantage of this. The girl's family continued to take her to Drake's shows in Ohio & were with her at all times, even getting Meet & Greet through contacts. She attended 9 shows in total following her accusations. This is mentioned in the trial. During the final hearing, after sentencing Drake for responding to the messages, the "victim" gave further statements WITHOUT PROOF, saying that Drake had abused her. The same lawyers denied it at that precise moment, since there were multiple witnesses. The girl was accusing Drake without evidence and lying in court, because at that time Drake began to make his relationship with Janet more public (when he announced his engagement). There is also evidence that the girl wrote things to Drake like "I miss you", after the accusations & that she kept photos of Drake's partner, even sending her messages & invading her privacy. Drake pleaded guilty for: 1. Exchanging messages WITHOUT KNOWING the age of the girl. This was the advice she seeked out from him on Instagram. 2. Having met her at a Meet & Greet, with other people present, since this for US law is "endangering" a minor. Drake never accepted charges for abusing anyone. Another thing that started as gossip in the United States is that Drake Bell had "escaped" to Mexico to evade his crimes, which is false. Drake likes to visit Mexico and has been coming for years. Your visits have absolutely nothing to do with your case. Drake Bell does NOT live in Mexico nor did he change his nationality and the nickname "Campana" was given to him by the same fans. Drake came this past weekend (May 22) to a festival in Orizaba and was invited to a club in Orizaba and Pachuca. We want to make it very clear that in the trial it is pointed out and highlighted that NONE of the charges that Drake faced have a record of sexual or abuse. Turns out his “Victim” was a bullshitter. She started the text messages by claiming to be a legal adult. When Drake got suspicious of her & asked her for her age, she finally confessed to him that she was 15. He cut off all contact, pissing her off. She kept trying to contact him, but in return got zero response from him. She also traveled to 9 of his shows. When she found out about his engagement (to the woman in this video, who’s now his wife), she confronted both of them. Then she proceeded to file a false police report on him. She made up an entire story about how Drake had repeatedly assaulted her, claimed to be traumatized & afraid for her life, as well as having panic attacks.

He plead guilty to the charges. By all means do your own research. Fill in the blanks as you see fit.

If his ex was abused, why didn't she go to the cops instead of going on TikTok? That isn't going to do anything but drag him & paint him in a bad light simply because she said, "He abused me." This man got 2 years probation for being nice to a teenager who gave him a sob story on Instagram & begged him for advice. That's all it was & if the judge, witnesses from both the concert venue he performed at & the hotel he stayed at are all saying that nothing sexual happened to her like she claimed, then I have no choice but to believe that he is innocent. You don't get sexually assaulted from getting a signed birthday card, which is exactly what happened. Mind you, this all occurred in 2017, not 2014 at 12 years old like she claimed. She made up an entire story because she was upset that he wasn't interested in her like she hoped he'd be & she thought him acknowledging her meant that they were going to be in a relationship. Kind of hard to paint her as a victim when there's plenty of evidence going against her rather than against Drake. She claimed that they exchanged nudes & they were talking sexually to each other for 3 years. However, there was no proof that indicated such claims. Claims to be traumatized & afraid of him, so much so that she can't sleep at night, he is the reason for her being in therapy & her lack of trust in men. It was revealed that she was already in therapy prior to meeting him & she continued paying for tickets & Meet & Greets to go to his shows after the alleged incident. I think that if he actually assaulted her, she would've tried her damnedest to stay as far away from him as possible if she was so afraid of him, but it was the complete opposite, considering she was revealed to be an obsessed super fan who stalked him relentlessly until he answered her. Explain to me how he's guilty when SG's best friend & witnesses from the concert hall ALL testified against her during this investigation. She told her friend straight to her face that she was going to do this to him & the friend told her mother and Aunt and in return is called a liar. So, that means that she set him up. If he was guilty of anything they would have found evidence that indicated she was raped/assaulted while in the hotel with him alone, but her aunt & friend were with her in the hotel room the entire time & were told to go out in the hallway while the ant stayed behind & got her birthday card signed. _That's_ the true story, not what the media fed you. She flat out admits that she continued to try contacting him after he stopped communication, & when she found out about him and his fiance's relationship she confronted him about it. A sexual assault victim wouldn't give a damn about her abuser's relationship status. She'd want Justice to be served. His wife made a video on her Instagram explaining how she had sent her messages, telling her that she was going to steal him away from her cuz she should've been the one married to him instead of her. You can't accuse him of lying when he has evidence to indicate that he didn't do anything to her, especially if he knows he didn't do anything wrong, but can't defend himself because people like you would find suspicion with it and try to find reasons to villianize him. I'm looking at the evidence & have common sense to not stupidly go by the biased word of RU-vidrs who fabricate texts in order to manipulate me into believing that he is guilty of something he was obviously proven not to be & give SG praise by feeling sorry for her, especially when I watched the court video & witnessed her little show put on when Drake's defense attorney came with receipts in order to destroy the claims that she made in her statement, not to mention the faces that she was making when she discovered that she was nothing short of a lying little piece of shit & only cried at the end because her little plan to destroy his life and send him to prison didn't fall through. You need to watch the first episode of the podcast. Basically, the reboot was sort of making fun of Drake's entire life. It also contained every Mexican stereotype in the book. Deserts, tiny dirty villages, everybody looking sad, drug cartels, Mexicans getting shitfaced/coked up at a quinceanera. Drake has a ton of fans in Mexico, and his team is based out of Mexico. So she told him, in no way can he do this script. And he wouldn't have even if she told him not to. Drake tried to get him to change things, maybe make up a weird country that has no ties to anything real. But Josh was adamant. Josh also insisted he write the script. Janet (his wife) literally read parts of the script, they didn't make this up.
