@@miskito19 Bro, I would’ve been homeless without your help. Thank you for lending me 10,000 to survive a year, and also teaching me how stocks work so I can double my money up. I am forever in your debt 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nah i think yall trippin with the Travis feature. That travis on Fair Trade, was rodeo travis. Tbh one of the best songs of the album. But again everyone has their opinions
I don’t have any guys in my life who are Drake fans like yall so I had to watch this video! You guys are sooo fun and funny! I live for the commentary from all 3 of you.
@@BootyWonka Either you know Complex Ambition from high school or you’re from somewhere else in the world being mad as hell. Sorry you have no personality or good looks to feel confident enough to start your own RU-vid channel and gain subscribers/views.
This album got some great lyrics, instrumentals and just songs in general but DAMN BRO its like going from an iPhone 11 to a iPhone 12. Sure its new and better but i feel like we were promised more than that with CLB. Still saving a good number of songs tho.
Ikr he legit had one of the best features of his career on Fair Trade 🔥 you heard how fast he was rapping from 3:26-3:36? It had me jumping out my chair lmao
@@BM-hc4sd Fair trade leaked like a month and a half ago without Travis and I had been bumping it a lot, kind of got tired of the song. Heard the real version with Travis and it sounds 10x better. It’s a “fair trade” because drake snapped on Sicko Mode and gave Travis a W song, so only a “fair trade” that Travis returns the favor.
Ever since I joined your family, whenever a new album/song comes out, I just can't help but ask myself "I wonder how my brothers at complex ambition will react to this"
Honestly CLB was not a disappointment but it definitely wasn't as good as expected, its obviously a very good project but in comparison to past projects its not great. Theres obviously a great dispute between CLB and Donda but honestly Donda was better, it wasn't as "boom bappy" which is something that tends to be favoured by most in this generation but it was more of a complete work of art because at the end of the day musicians are also known as "artists". Ultimately personally I think that CLB is among the top 5 mainstream hiphop albums of 2021 but it definitely could've been better.
We gotta remember that at this point we are all just judging Drake based on the position he has been in for several years without falling off. He has set the bar so high for himself that we expect way more every time. If Drake was like a Kanye who literally fell off a bit but now is pulling up again it would have had a much better reaction. Truth be told I think we should give Drake a lot of credit for this project
Listened to clb 5 times in total think I just over hyped it there’s some good and great songs on it. I will give props to drake I think the the biggest songs on this album are gonna be the ones that aren’t your typical drake song. This last week for music has felt like a year, we gotta enjoy these moments in the present because we only get these moments a hand full of times
To add what I said earlier this album feels like comfort food. And kinda is like the perfect background noise. And I think it’ll age well. God bless you all.
Both albums shit fr for the amount of songs they had on each. Couple bangers though no doubt. For CLB I say “no friends on the industry” is the best song on that album and for DONDA, “moon” is a fucking masterpiece…
I read a comment earlier today that made me realize how uncreative drake has become. At 33 kanye gave us MBDTF that reinvented music. At 34 drake gave us CLB🤦....
@@Kippynms It's relevant when you compare artist. Drake has been on mid mode for a few years now. He is not taking risk or putting out quality albums. It is what it is. I guess for me I'll enjoy drakes singles more than his album.
That’s why Ye need his flowers because every album he drop is creatively different and amazing at that. Drake put out bangers but we been getting the same shit since 2016.
Is it my computer of does the video freeze @29:59? From there on, I don't hear anything and the Video is frozen at that frame... But the video is still playing...
As a drake fan and listener to drake music oftenly, views was my least liked album. Hot line bling was my fav single on it but that was an add on. I like clb better bc i needed to hear mc drake not so much r&b/dancehall drake
@@Jonathrn24 Bro nah. Im saying this as a big Travis fan, Travis had no business on fair trade. How they said, he still did his thing in the start and end but the middle had too many stops and flow shifts. Drakes part is good and travis part is good alone but they just do not go well together. If they woulda went back and fourth on it kind of like on sicko mode it woulda been an instant hit and 100x better
There’s some great tracks but still I was expecting more … I only listened to it a couple of times but I think Donda was better. Maybe CLB will grow on me with time
I haven’t been in touch with the latest music and so haven’t recentl watched my boys but damn…the boys have upgraded the whip let’s goooo 🔥🔥🔥 Best music reactions channel out there. Always love the energy by y’all 🤟
y'all buggin if you honestly believe clb is better than donda lmao. Any human with moderate intelligence and functioning cochleas will tell you that donda is 1000x better than clb.
this is actually facts. thing is a lot of the drake stans will come at you and say you're hating lmfao. Don't get me wrong I like both albums but Donda is clearly way better imo. This is not drake's best work too
@@13hoursTillILand Who tf cares about numbers. If you actually have a brain you would not judge an album based on its numbers. Drake has more radio and casual songs that even braindead people can vibe too. Some people too dumb to understand Kanye that’s why he’s in his own lane
Drake can spit whatever bars he wants, and yall can praise him for it. But the reality is, that from an artistic point of view "Come to Life" from Kanye beats this whole album.... And to all those casual Drake fans: Let that sink in for a second
Kanye's album is way better than CLB. There's no replay value in CLB. He raps about the same thing he has in the past. Girls, girls, his doubters, dancers, drugs, and girls..
Everybody’s opinion will change and it will go down as his best album and this is why. At first listen I thought the album was amazing and maybe a couple skips, but this is a special project and once you realize what he went for snd relisten afterwords you’ll see why this is an album for the true fans. If you go back to the trailer for CLB he put out (the CLB Jan 2021) he filmed himself remaking every single one of his album covers, also him and 40(his producer) said they wanted to give us all of drake in one album as in every era of drake. So he is paying homage to himself and literally giving us every era snd version of drake from his fist album to his latest and after my 10th listen (every listen the album gets better which is crazy) I fully understand what he was trying to do and he did, he delivered exactly what he said he was going to and he did it for the true fans, making this a literal masterpiece and a 10/10. So If you come on here saying “oh I’ve heard this before it’s nothing new” no shit he was literally giving us every era of himself and it’s perfect: idk wtf you clowns were thinking🤡 like you expecting drake to all of a sudden drop a country album? Lmaoo. Also any of you lame ass dudes that try to say Donda > CLB are you mentally not all there? CLB crushed Donda so hard it’s laughable to the point where all of the Donda fans couldn’t even enjoy that album and just stopped listening when drake dropped to go on every platform you could to hate on drake🤡 cuz you jealous? Y’all were mad hype saying Kanye just broke the records and has the best numbers of 2021!!! The the real goat drops and puts that shit to same, the numbers just came out for first week and Donda did 126k while CLB went certified gold and hit 603k😭 Donda ain’t even do what a 2 song project scary hours 2 drake put out earlier this year💀 all of y’all hold your L
donda miles ahead of clb in terms of artist musicality... and not everyone listens to mid-generic-same music all the time PS: all the donda reaction vids has more views than CLB so we know which aged better....
@@cosmosjet7743 they’re not incomparable, both are rappers and make music and whichever sounds better is what you’ll like more. Y’all are weird for thinking comparisons are bad, they’re not…
@@yike2356 if I was at the top of the rap game for a decade I would stop pushing myself too bro. When there is no competition there is no need to further improve yourself you have officially made it at that point
Seems like there’s a lot of ppl looking for a hot take on CLB calling it mid. You expect an album of 21 songs with just straight bangers ? Good music is supposed to challenge and refine your tastes. I think this album is his best work since IYRTITL
How tf did this challenge anything? If you’re an artist, you’re supposed to make music that always sounds different to stay fresh. Sadly, Drake has failed this. He’s never taken any risks when it has come to his music.
how was this challenging or refining tastes? I did like some tracks but this sounds like such a vapid stan comment to defend what is just the same sounding stuff from drake, no innovation
Drake sprinkled the features on his tracks like parsley, just hoping it would work. Donda’s features elevated the songs to their fullest potential, the album had subtance, meaning, a theme. Man, if you get Donda, your ears are blessed. Not everyone can understand the work of art that that album is.
@@Froakie34 to each their own, if you like the same old drake talking on a track talking about his exes then that’s on you. Donda ain’t perfect, it’s a beautiful mess.
@@Froakie34 but who else do it at Ye level? And atleast Ye experimented, got a drill banger a piano ballad gospel choirs and shit for stadiums. It's crazy how anyone can logically say clb is better when it's just Drake doing Drake but not at the level he's done it before. Clb is a decent record but def one of his worst while Donda might be Ye's best or atleast got be mentioned.
@@yiebs3172 well said, that’s what i’ve been trying to get through people’s head, like you said, who’s out here making drill, hip hop, religious albums about their mother and doing it well??? No one but Kanye West.
@@yiebs3172 bro donda is no where clear to Kanye’s best shit dawg stop the cap production been heard flows been heard same reason you bashing drake is the same reason you praising donda stfu
The Bridlepath for your information is a place just located outside of Toronto which houses some of the largest mansions in the general Toronto area. When Drink was younger he would take a girl out and ask her if she wanted to see where he was going to live one day. He would drive is uncle Audi down to the Bridlepath explaining that he would have a home there one day. Fast forward until today and he has arguably the largest house on that street, which was custom built for him I think a little bit over 3 to 4 years ago. Equipped with custom basketball courts, to say the least.... we’re proud of him !!
Drake is evolving and adapting to the new sounds and personally as a big Drake fan I fuck with it but idk that’s just me . Old Drake New Drake it don’t matter it still slaps .
@@nintendofannot4898 it’s a close second for me, this just sounded like straight dbr/rodeo trav with a mix of the new style, so it’s a better preview of what’s coming on Utopia, so that makes it so much cooler, at least for me
As a huge drake fan I gotta say this is( for a most part) what I was looking I listen to drake since take care and tbh I missed having drake on this type of shit more. I dont care about the pop shit, but I still wish we had a heavy rap song where we could hear him more agressive . Still I rate it a 8/10 far from the 1st 3 albums but still really good after so many years.
What you guys got against Travis Scott? I understand its different, but y'all just seem like you got this thing against him that makes you not like him or something...
