@Thatchet Push only bro so many of them from this artist to the next. Top request for me •Dreamville D-Day •Comethazine Comethazine •Token Pink •Pusha T Its Almost Dry And many more. Maybes he can speedrun them and do one video summarising he’s thoughts on the 💩tons of projects he missed🤷🏾♂️
@@mocapcow2933 I still fucking hate thay 21 was about to put Knifr Talk on SM2 and then they told him to hold off on that, and then it went over to Drake
I find it hilarious 21 savage went from a sort of meme rapper to a full blown top 10 artist with great songs in his discography. Man's grown so much its amazing
@@namecciano1127 idk where you should start but other than some bangers in 2016 like X and no heart, the album that got me into his stuff was Without Warning. my choppa hate and rap saved me are still some of his best tracks. albums i am>i was and savage mode 2 are solid overall too so most tracks from those will do (a lot, my dawg, no opp left behind, brand new draco, glock in my lap)
@@Lakeshow0024 that's a true fact he is one of the worst 'I know I want you love your love won't get away from me I know you need my love your love is what I need' that's pretty much every Drake song that isn't ghost written
@@zombiewolf3244 So your saying all his old shit pre 2015 was ghostwritten? 5am in Toronto was ghostwritten? So far gone and comeback season? You never liked drake besides a few songs off of IYRTITL clearly
@@romaretaylor9953 no Drake is not a bad artist don't get me wrong but it's clear that all of his songs are not written by him it's very very clear it's even been proven you know it's his ghostwriter even came out what's his name I can't remember his name who cares but it clearly shows when Drake writes songs it's I need your Love you know I'm a better lover than your lover you know that's the garbage that he writes he's a good artist he's not a good writer
@@jordanackerley2171 the thing is, this is common in jersey club, which goes hard in the club; it indeed isn't a good idea rapping over the squeaking tho lol I think the beat on itself would be fire but singing over something like this makes no sense
Even then, the alternatives to this kind of sound are leaps and bounds better than this fecal matter drizzy has produced. I don’t think a late night drive has the capability to save it but good luck man.
@@romaretaylor9953 More Life was garbage what are you taking about?? It was so inconsistent and trash Drake labeled it as a “playlist” so he could get a pass and lower expectations
if i was a drake a fan, id be pissed about this project. it seems abundantly apparent to me that he phoned this one in and doesnt give a fuck about this album.
ohh, trust me fam, it's only getting way worse from here lol. He's doing 200k this week, he got what he wanted lmao. His fans literally bite every faeces he shits, soo there's no way back
@@me-ou3hs You’re entitled to your opinion, of course, but honestly I agree with Danny. Drake has never been an impressive artist, but if his goal is to make catchy club music, he’s done it. I don’t enjoy the album front to back, and yes Jimmy Cooks & Sticky are the best tracks. But, overall I enjoyed the production, and I could see myself listening to some of these songs here and there for the production alone. After CLB he didn’t really need to drop anything, so I think this was strictly for fun, and that’s okay.
Something tells me that Jimmy Cooks was the single of a hypothetical "next Drake project" but when he heard Kendrick had like 500 songs on a hard drive somewhere, he decided he needed to flex his unreleased catalog too. Not realizing that the giving his audience 1 Sicko Mode rerun and 13 unfinished demos wasn't the same as an Untitled Unmastered. There's a lot of jokes you can make about this album, from its contents to its tone to its title, but the real story here is the story of the world's biggest "artist" chasing clout. For someone on top of the mountain, I guess it makes sense why Drake sounds like he's stuck in a cloud.
3/10 1 point for 21 carrying the album and 2 points because I can appreciate the playability in clubs where people are drunk and just need some background noise
I don't even think this would cut for most clubs that play drakes music. This is the type of album that would be played at like 3am when ppl are too pissed to dance anymore lmao.
6:40 This part sound like Drake actually heard Wale's Bad, and actually took the song title too literally, and made an actual 'bad,' song. Especially with the bedsprings effect.
Mac millers passing was one of the saddest days in hip hop history. However I am happy that he did not have to see what drake is doing nowadays since his untimely passing
@@trevorbullock9777 that's like saying RIP 2Pac but it's good that he isn't getting to listen to the new DaBaby album it's stupid and pointless just say the album is bad and move on lmao
EDM/Dance is one of my favorite genres and might I say if this was meant to be a EDM Dance album its the first album of this genre ever to make me not want to bounce around and gives me no energy at all.
I have a feeling you would really like kaytranada his style of production is in the same style as this one except its better the problem with this album is that drake takes a genre and doesn't do it creatively
I like Dance music, but this type of dance music, where they keep the same instrumental for so long gets so repetitive. My favorite dance music is one that evolves through time.
@CurtMuhGurt I feel like it was done at such a basic level, but at least he tried something new. Most house and Dance music I listen to tried to constantly switch it up in a song so it doesn’t get repetitive, but this was also his first time making a dance album tbf. Still don’t really like it, and I never watched Degrassi so I never cared about that part.
Ngl, the thing that killed the album for me besides the sleepy ass singing were the beats. Legit every beat besides the last track sounded like it was made in GarageBand, and some of the mixing on the beats and vocals gave me headaches with how off it was. 1/10
I appreciate he wanted to try something different to be honest, possibly reach another audience. I enjoyed quite a few on here, especially Massive, that was a banger. Hilarious reaction tho lmao 🤣
I actually really like the vibe this album brings, it's very minimalistic Afro House music which is not something I ever expected from Drake Yet again NAV's one of my favorite rappers so yeah
@@ralissedarysv2497 Drake isn’t washed though, people need to stop hating. This album is good, and Scary Hours was good and CLB had plenty of good songs. Drake gets ridiculously harsh criticism just because of how he acts the fuck boy in his 30s and is at the top
For most people it's a very boring, unfocused album with drake sounding like discount weeknd. And the production is generic as hell, like I swear I've heard all this somewhere before.
@@patrickbates1864 I thought it was very focused one one theme & vibed very well. Ppl that don’t listen to this type of music will say that about the beats so I don’t blame you. For ex ppl that don’t listen to rap say that all rap sounds the same - same for country, etc.
You can tell the people who just genuinely don’t like this sorta music, And people who just wanna hate drake, and know nothing about this genre of music and wanna conflate the 2 So clear
I like this type of music if it’s made right. And there are songs I love that he sings in. He only has two tones. The pitches he tried to hit he can’t. Just wasn’t great music.
I've been begging to watch him react to a Drake album because of how hilarious it would be. Then I realized that if I'm watching him react to it, I have to listen to it as well. Jokes on me.
This is genuinely such a bad album. Yet drake got the nerve to say "yall just don't get it yet". Like???? No dude it's just trash. There's nothing to get 💀
He said something about it maybe being a No Pressure situation, where he still needs to gather his thoughts fully. He made a reaction but felt that his opinions would change similar to NP, and is likely to do a similar voiceover of his more recent opinions.
Funny how drake said we lack too much intellect or we’re just too dumb to understand the album smh. He tried way too hard to appeal to everyone while sacrificing what he’s good at
As a fan of dance music I will say that those classic 90s Detroit/chicago techno tunes usually have someone with a booming, powerhouse of a voice. Think a Diana Ross. The tracks are also far dirtier- unpolished, not afraid to be a little weird. Drake played this shit waaaaay too safe with a very simple knowledge of dance music, and the album suffered for it.
Not gonna lie to you this Album kinda bangs if you're into the Dance/House genre (South African so I am), Currents still sucks though, A Keeper and Tie that Binds are Goated, maybe classics especially for house
Anyone who comes back to this album after the first listen is unwell mentally. Drake took the most bland and basic parts of the House genre, and made 13 boring ass tracks which he either droned over the whole song or tried to sound like The Weeknd on LSD. Then he took a 21 Savage Bside song and stuck it at the very end just because.
