IYRTITL feels like a winter evening somewhere in Toronto and Jungle feels like that one restaurant with alot of people, mostly couples, having dinner and enjoying the lead singer of a band that is playing on stage that night. Drakes lyrics feels like what every single couple is thinking at that moment, while the singer is singing in the background like "rock me real slowly" and all that.

ngl this is one of the first “album”s I listened to when I was getting into music in middle school. craaaazy how people clowning on drake now but he was such an influential figure in my early music experience. Definitely got me through my awkward phase, made new friends, and got me listening to a lot of other artists. jungle really do be a comfort song sheeeesh

It's by a very decent margin his best project. No skippers from track 1 to 17 (except now & forever) Take Care the only other good solo project. NWTS, Views and More Life had some highlights but are overally mid, and Scorpion is trash. Didn't listen to DLDT but it's 2020 Drake so it has to be trash too. And So Far Gone didn't age well

@@touis1999 I disagree on NWTS, its a great record. But IYRTITL tops it because it’s a smaller project sonically and because of it, the production is so water tight and consistent. Like you said, bangers front to back. People always look it over because its “not an album” which is true, but a shitty point.

Found out this album dropped in the middle of my cooking class in Grade 11. I remember me and my cooking partner(My boy Jeremy) lol) just chilled at a table in the back and listened to every song and man we were hypin' each other up whenever he'd drop a fire bar or the SICK drop on Know Yourself. That was the best cooking class I ever had lol. Still his best album IMO shit was just on point. I swear the next few months was everybody playin this album on repeat in my highschool, and at any party/social gathering it was truly an album I'll always remember.
