The purpose of Drake pointing out that Kendrick is not from the streets… It’s because Drake is treated as a visitor in hip-hop because of his identity. He’s pointing out that he and Kendrick aren’t that different in terms of credibility.

There’s a reason drake put Pac & Snoop on the track. Those are literally Kendrick’s 2 idols so he’s using them to talk down on him and give him a pep talk at the same time. Snoop also literally passed the torch to Kendrick on stage at the house of blues back in 2011. Also if u go back to Kendrick’s album “To Pimp a Butterfly” and listen to the Outro “Mortal Man” Kendrick is literally having a conversation with Pac. This was just absolute chess move by drake man. 4:58 back when Millie Bobby Brown(11 from stranger things) was 14 Drake kept texting her and Brown went on interview talking about how they’re “great friends” and how Drake would text her while he was on tour saying he missed her. He was also “giving her boy advice” On top of that, while he was on tour he invited a girl on stage and was dancing on and groping her and was like “I’m getting too ahead of myself how old are you” and she said 17 and Drake then laughed it off and walked up and kissed her

I think drake using 2pac and snoop to remind kendrick that he's not a "thug" isn't drake saying he himself is.. I think he's just saying "this is a rap battle, you're not running around snatching chains, or fighting... but you're supposed to get in the booth and rap, you're supposed to be this amazing rapper --- where is your response. Drake doesn't rap about the streets. Drake is one of the few rappers that actually raps about his actual lifestyle. Kendrick raps about gang life, but never was in a gang or really did anything gang related.

Realistically, Drakes diss has only been out for like 4 days lmaooo THINK ABOUT THAT... only 4 days but people making it seem like its been a week when Drakes diss officially dropped on April 19th friday... 2:33 thats where your wrong he, its not cheesy because he doesn’t have Tupac’s voice saying what drake wants to say, Tupac’s verse was actually supposed to be advice that Tupac was giving kdot as a way to try and force a reply from kdot, drake using ai is also a play on the fact that kdot accused him of using ghost writers and the ai songs earlier in the week so he ghost writes for a ghost on this diss
