As if Nicki Minaj hasn’t worked with hundreds of female artist / rap artist from the new generation at this point including Cardi , Megan, Doja, that was before there was even this influx of female rappers , had Kashdoll and Asian Doll on queen radio , the only reason these women even benefit from HipHop today is because of the foundation Nicki laid down for them to even have access to be this mainstream. It’s just odd to me how it’s black people that hate her so much but y’all love this Latina who mocks black women. What I will say tho is. What Cardi is doing is great, she doing what she suppose to do. The issue is the narrative that she’s doing something that hasn’t been done. It's funny how Ebro asks questions and then answers it. Like you said , he's Canadian. Entertainment made him cross over. He's not there to talk about the American problem. He's referenced his city a few times in his songs any other thing you expect from him is just projection. One thing you are not gon say about him though is that he doesn't care. He's given way more assist to people who needed it compared to his peers of same generation. If he's consigning or assisting people who talk about these things, then technically he's doing something about it.

Now all the chart talk and stuff you’ll have find someone who cares about that to argue that. But as for the quality of hip-hop - she has lowered the bar because what was required of artists for them receive the respect they have earned they are now lowering those standards and taking them away for her and I want to know why? Like when have we have ever called 2 features in a year a feature run? Now, she don’t have to put out an album? Why not? That Coi album is good I think the 2nd half 8 - 16 is good. Everything before that besides Players seems like there trying to find her sound. The beginning of this album is a throwaway to me. I could also live with out BlackRose, it sounds like a truck/ beer commercial 😂.
