But now after 2 years, all of my songs were renamed with random letters.So i had to rename the songs again.When i searched for this song,i saw that you made a cover of it,so i clicked and....let me just say wow.... I somehow developed a relation to this song. At first, I listened this song to relax like most sad conor maynard covers, but now I realised this song relates to the relationship I have with my best friend. We used to be inseparable and have been friends for 10 years, but now he doesn't see me as his best friend anymore and sees someone else. I've tried my absolute hardest to make him see me as his best friend again, but every joke his "new" best friend makes, he always laughs. If I make those same jokes, he doesn't laugh at all and shames me for wanting attention and being annoying. He handles his problem himself and doesn't seek help, but I seem to be the only one there when there are those moments when he talks about it. I do whatever I can and it never seems to work because I don't know how to solve it. When there was one time my best friend was feeling unhappy in a voice call with our friend group, he left. I was ranting about why he's acting like that and what's wrong, but then his "new" best friend literally had the audacity to say it's not my business to know. He didn't even ask him if he was okay like how I did after. However, my best friend didn't need me to ask. The chorus of this song is "I'm too good to you" but I don't want to come to that realisation yet. I know it's going to happen one day, but I'm not ready now. Edit: I had finally to come to the realization because at this point like he said in the song, I lost my patience and I finally accept that we aren’t best friends anymore. It hasn’t gotten any better and I hated him for a while. I’m trying to let go of that hate but he’s just a stranger to me now.
